How many times have you heard about a military discount only to visit that particular chain or store in your area and find out they don’t offer it there. I myself have had this happen and decided that I would create a new section on Army Wife 101 called “IT’S VERIFIED. With IT”S VERIFIED I personally call the corporate offices of military discounts for chain stores and restaurants that I see advertised on the internet and verify with the main office whether or not those discounts are at select establishments or nationwide.
For the sake of mistakes I can’t promise that every corporate employee will have their facts correct but I believe it’s better to speak to someone at the head office verses a store employee.
You can now look for the pink “IT’S VERIFIED” shopping bag to see if I have confirmed a military discount.
NY&CO Military Discount
While this is a very popular and well known discount that is available nationwide, I still wanted to get specifics on it.
So I called last week and spoke to an employee in the main office and was told the following:
The discount is for 15% off any items in the store including clearance and redline.
This offer cannot be combined with any offers unless otherwise noted.
This offer is available nationwide and is not available online.
Must have a valid Military ID at time of purchase.

That’s awesome! I love NY & CO clothing. The store Buckle also has military discounts as well. Maurice’s also has always had a discount, too. Thanks for sharing!
