Free Admission to Colonial Williamsburg Veteran’s Day Weekend For Military And Their Families

For current or former military personnel who are in or near Virginia and are looking for something fun and family oriented to do , you may want to put Colonial Williamsburg on your list next weekend.

As a thank you and in honor of the dedication and sacrifices our service members make ,Colonial Williamsburg is offering free admission to AD personnel, Reservists, Retirees and their families on Veteran’s Day Weekend November 9th-12th.

Dependents with a deployed service member may attend as well and will receive free entry.

The three-day “Honoring Service to America” admission tickets grant access to Colonial Williamsburg’s Revolutionary City and Art Museums as well as special Veteran’s Day programming, including a brief memorial service in the picturesque garden behind the Governor’s Palace held by the Williamsburg Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.

It’s been many moons since I have been to Colonial Williamsburg but the last time I went my family and I had a great time. Not only was it historical and interesting it was pretty fun to be educational. In addition there was a lot of really nice lodging and great southern food to eat!
