Disclosure: BIC provided me with their Back to School Lineup to share with you for review purposes. No other forms of compensation were received. All opinions are my own and have not been influenced.
The school year officially begins next week here in my household. Of course I still have a few last minute items to get but luckily I am set when it comes to writing tools thanks to BIC. Bic recently gave me the opportunity to check out their 2013 Back to school lineup.
I won’t lie my motto normally has been a pen is a pen but I cant say that’s true anymore. When school starts in comes hoards of paperwork to fill out and of course homework and projects for the kids. I know personally to many times I have whipped out my $1 store pens and have had to put the lighter to the tip. lick the ink tip, or shake them vigorously to get the ink to flow.
It wasn’t until I got the BIC pack the other day , that I paid attention to the importance of smooth glide and learned how certain pen tips can actually improve your writing style. Not to mention you know I’m all about my military peeps and not only is BIC sold in military exchanges nationwide, they are super military friendly with 2 of their initiatives this year involving the USO and the Wounded Warrior Project.
Included in the BIC 2013 Back to School lineup are the:

My favorite item of course has to be the BIC Tech 2-in 1 Stylus and Pen
I had no clue BIC went high tech and made styluses for tablets and smartphones. Needless to say that now belongs to mommy…ahem!
As minor as it sounds these pens and new items work great and can definitely minimize the “Mom do you have another pen…mine ran out of ink” line I hear frequently throughout the year.
In celebration of back to school BIC is so graciously allowing me to give one of my lucky readers in the USA a BIC Back to School Prize pack valued at $45.
