So I’ve been trying to workout as much as I can on my Smooth Fitness Treadmill and while yes getting the motivation to do it daily is a task for me sometimes, I know the benefits are worth it.
All that aside even with music to distract me I still get a little bored walking for fifteen to thirty minutes at a time so when Tye another #SmoothBlogger told me that the inclines could drastically reduce the time you have to walk and burn more calories quicker I had to try it.
OMG! Why did I do that? Apparently I held the incline button a little to long and it must have went to the highest incline it could possibly reach because I literally felt like I was walking up an extremely steep hill. Luckily if you use the incline feature it has close to 6 different incline levels which is great for people like me with bad knees. I only did this for ten minutes and I kid you not I burned close to 50 calories and was pouring sweat. That may not seem like a lot but it is considering at normal walking pace on the treadmill it takes much longer to do so. As soon as I was done it was a wrap for me and to my surprise I was asleep at 9:30PM , which is definitely not the norm for me.
Hence my title “Inclines Knocked Me Out”!
