I love giving and helping others. It literally brings me happiness if I know I did something to help someone else.

With the holidays approaching the opportunity to help others more becomes even more important to me.

I’ve donated as much as I can afford to many types of causes ,but as mentioned before because of my relation to the military the “Wounded Warrior Project” is very important to me.

In addition I recently revealed to some people that my husband has suffered with PTSD and so the WWP has become even bigger on my radar. One of the biggest things they do is assist service members with PTSD.

Their PTSD resource center online has been an amazing resource to my husband who never expected to deal with something like this.  It has helped him to get the help he needs and to talk with others in the same situation.

For those not familiar with the WWP their mission is below:

Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors.

WWP serves to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women; help severely injured service members aid and assist each other; and provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.

Last month I shared with you how I have joined Brawny Paper towels in encouraging our nation to support our heroes and their families.

Learn About That Here

Today I want to share with you the ways you can donate to the WWP  and help America’s heroes.

I know I spend much more time on Facebook then I care to admit and many of my readers have admitted the same thing. Did you know you can  help a donation to the WWP be made through Brawny by simply visiting their Facebook page and leaving a message of thanks. Brawny will donate $1 for every message of thanks placed on their wall.

In addition you can donate directly to the Wounded Warrior Project through the Brawny FB Page by visiting here and clicking the red button that says “Donate Directly to the Wounded Warrior Project”.

Has the Wounded Warrior Project helped you?
