  1. My husband is an amazing Dad. He puts our two boys before himself no matter what. He is always there to kiss boo-boos or to protect them. When its time to play he’s their buddy and when its time to work he’s their boss. He’s a perfect balance of lovinh and tough. He takes such pride in our boys. When we go out he almost shows them off and does similar when he talks about them. I have never aeen such a loving relationship between a father and his sons. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better father for my children.

  2. My husband is one of the best fathers I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He wakes up early every weekend to spend some one on one time with our two children. He devotes saturdays and sundays to our family, making sure we do something special every week, even if its just a let’s stay home and play games day. He’s one of the most selfless people I know, always putting others before himself. Overall, I’m amazed at how blessed I am to have such an amazing man as my husband and as the father of my children.

  3. My husband has 4 other children from previous relationships, I had my daughter at the time we married and now we have our 12month old. He’s been the best dad he can be to all the girls, including mine, when her own bioDad chose not to be in her life. Where does he find time? I don’t know, but he always has all his girls on the brain, even if they all can’t be under one roof, I know he wishes they could be, who wouldn’t want they very own starting 5 basketball team?! :) Also, my sweet husband, leg in a cast because of knee surgery, no medications, drove from El Paso to San Antonio (555miles), then from San Antonio to McAllen, TX (240miles) just to pick up his second to youngest girl, to spend the summer with us and our new little one and her 2 older sisters. He does everything he can for them all, out does himself every Christmas and birthday. He was a “teen dad” and would put all those “dads” to shame on Teen Mom. He really is the epitome of a great dad, he’s had 18 years experience, 2 girls in college this fall, a senior that’s top 10 in her class and the younger 2 are honor roll all year round, with good morals and most importantly good work ethic, he’s the best role model, awesome husband and absolutely a wonderful father.

  4. I husband drew is a great father for so many reasons. He always puts his family before anything. We just had our 1st daughter Kylie-Ann in December 2011, and he has changed 100%. He will not leave the house or car unless he gives Kylie-Ann a hug & kiss and tells her he loves her. She always makes sure she gives her a hug and kiss when se wakes up in the morning and before she goes to bed. He has provided his family wit everything and more and keeps trying to make each day a little better than the last. He is a great father, a wonderful husband and an awesome man <3

  5. Where do I even start about my husband…Brandon and I got pregnant with our oldest daughter at 15 and 16(We are now 24 and 25), he stood up and did everything he could do to support us! We had a rough start, but he always stayed positive and loving of his family, he is our rock. He has worked so hard to get us where we are today and himself into his dream job! He has an amazing playful personality and I LOVE seeing that personality come out in my girls<3

  6. My husband, Charlie, is the best father and husband a family could ask for. He is patient, kind, understanding and loving to our 2 wonderful children. From their 1st breath they have been his whole world. Their happy lives are his number 1 concern. He truely is an amazing father. We love him more than words can express.

  7. My husband and I have one beautiful 4month old son. He is the most amazing father because everything is does is for my son and I. He always makes sure that our wants and needs are taken care of before his own. Day or night he is always there to support us. Every morning he before PT he spends time with our son during his morning routine. He always makes time at night to play with him and makes sure that he is happy no matter what. I couldnt ask for a more wonderful man to be the father of my child!!

  8. My husband and soldier is simply the best father in the world. We have 2 beautiful daughters that he loves dearly and recently found out another baby on the way. He loves them so much and unconditionally. He can’t stand to be away from them for even a minute even when he is out fishing with the guys. He deployed when I was 8 months pregnant with our 2nd baby and was able to come home for the birth but then had to leave when she was a week old. And it just broke his heart. He took a full time job with the army and moved us from his hometown to provide better for his daughters. He lives them with every fiber of his being and is always there for them no matter what they need. They are only 3.5 and 5 yrs old and love him dearly. We don’t have the money for luxuries and I know he would love this prize so very much. Thanks.

  9. My husband & I are TTC right now, and I know he’ll be an amazing father because of the same qualities that made me fall in love with him. He has patience, compassion and loves without limitations. He’s so excited that hopefully soon he may be a father (Prayers & baby dust are appreciated!). He already kisses my tummy every day so that our future baby knows love even before we know they’re growing inside :)

  10. In 2006 i was freshly divorced after 14 years with 2pre teens a house and no job. I had no choice but to work graveyard at a casino to support my family and not lose my house. I sacrificed for my children as a single mother with lil help from their father. I was forced to play both roles as mommy n daddy and had lil faith in men by then. However at my new job i met a man who took my breath away. He was a single dad himself and i was amazed at how much he did for his lil boy. I couldn’t believe men could also take the role as women usually do and work, keep a house ,and raise a child. He blew my mind and i fell in love- In 2010 i turned 36 and to our surprise i became pregnant and gave birth (c-section) to a 10lb breeched baby boy, this wonderful man stayed home and took care of the entire family even when i returned to work graveyard, he took care of everything, in may of last year he sacrificed himself and decided to join the Army for himself and for us. He went to AIT in Huachuca for 7months and never did a night go by, even on his weekends were he didn’t call or say goodnight to our son. He also kept up with my older children making sure to give his emotional and financial support. . Fathers day is so special for me because it’s a great day to celebrate what a great man, husband and father he is. I fell in love with him for this very reason!

  11. My husband and I have been married for 18 years and he has been in Army for 20. We have endured 6 deployments and have raised 4 children of our own and took in my brother and sister as well. All of that has been cake compared to the last few years after I became sick after our last child. After a couple of years of a million doctors and suffering a stroke I was dianosed with Lupus. He has been my greatest support other then my babies! There are days I can hardly walk or I am in so much pain but he finds a way to bring me light! I have been unable to work so He worked a second job at lowes so I didn’t have to work and to make sure all needs were meet. He always gives unconditionally and never asked for in return. He always goes above and beyond and is never too busy to give blessings to others. He is a wonderful role model to many and I would like to.give back to him for as much as he gives to others!

  12. My husband is a great father & husband. He has sacrificed everything for his family being currently in the Military & even before. With 2 children with Autism, from assisting in the children’s therapies, to working as much as he could & now being in the military just to make sure they get the medical & educational intervention they need. Not only is he a member of one of our Nations greatest assets he is one in the dark, searching for the other soldiers whose children have been affected by Autism, letting them know that being in the military with a child with special needs that their fellow brothers & sisters in uniform are also there for them & will also never leave them behind. There is no shame, that there is someone who understands, lets them know to not worry if that will affect their military career but to pull them out of the dark & stand shoulder to shoulder with them in victory no matter how big or small they may seem. He is more than just a provider, he is a Blessing to me & our children willing to sacrifice everything including his life for his children willingly with no regrets. Love you & Thank You for being a wonderful Father.

  13. My husband is a wonderful father in many ways crazy i would see this man around town who knew two months later we would start dating i was a single mother doing it all on my on he stayed by my side through everything took my daughter in as his own shes officially a daddys little girl…when he’s not being a soldier he gives his time with me at or free health clinic for the uninsured he volunteers his time giving back to those in need in my eyes he’s all around wonderful father!!!

  14. My husband is a wonderful husband and dad because he always puts us first and makes the ultimate sacrifice by serving this country!

  15. My husband is a wonderful father- through our daughters medical problems, our horrible pregnancies and births, and all the funny moments, he never loses sight of what special little people we are raising. Just today, he endured a wrestling match on the tile kitchen floor- him on the ground, the kids jumping on him! He loves his kids and never puts anything above them

  16. My husband is without a doubt an amazing father. He does everything for the betterment of our family. He juggles it all – active duty soldier, deployments, frequent TDYs, soccer coach for our children, exceptional husband & so much more with a smile on his face . My husband had knee surgery on Monday and he’s bedridden for the remainder of this week . Our children spent three days with their aunt do that he could rest. By Wednesday morning, he was missing them so much. They came home that day and instead of sending them to the sitter today while I worked, he chose to have them stay with him while he had some time off. Though he’s in pain & can barely get off the couch, he made the day all about the kids. I believe he deserves so much more than I could ever describe . I think this would be a great surprise for him :)

  17. My husband is an amazing father because through all my dreams that I have had through my education he was always there to take care of our amazing little girl. I had 6 Surgeries in 2 months last year and he made sure that the baby came to see me everyday and he took amazing care of her. We were really young when we had our daughter and I wasn’t sure he was ready to be a father but he has embraced it and excelled. Our daughter adores him and I couldn’t imagine her having a better father. I work a full time job and my husband stays home every day with her even after working night shift to spend the day with her. Its very rare that children are able to spend an extended amount of time with their father’s and he treasures every second he gets with her. She is his mini me. What daddy does she does. She wears hats like he does, she plays video games with daddy and she has to eat all the same things daddy does. He is an amazing father and our daughter is just the luckiest little girl to have him as her dad.

  18. My husband and i have been together since we met in high school(not the same one) we have been married for 8yrs in july. We have 4 amazing kids! My husband has always provided for us. He was a welder but his company tanked but before the ship completely sunk he decided to enlist so that he knew we had food on the table and a roof over our heads. Even when my husband was deployed he would ask the kids about their day/week or read/tell them a story. He would try and make sure he sent a letter or gift so that they knew he was ok. We have had our ups and downs and pulled through them stronger each time. He is a great husband and father who always puts all of us first

  19. My husband is an outstanding dad because he revolves his life & career around our kids! No matter the time of day he will make the effort to call every day twice or more in a day to talk to our 3 kids including our 12 month old baby! He stays on top of what’s occurring in kids school, he plays patty cake everyday with our 12 month old on Skype! He may not call his mother or immediate family but has always made it his priority to place our kids before other family members who are anxiously waiting his arrival home. During r & r he focuses his time primarily on the kids & clarifies to his family that our kids suffered days & months without thier daddy & now it’s his duty to spend every minute with them. He loves providing for his kids which was the reason of his enlistment in the army to better provide for me & the kids! He calls every morning to talk to the kids on thier way out before school & calls every night to say goodnight! Yes, thier daddy is miles away across the world but he has made them feel that daddy is only a phone call away! They look forward to his calls every day & feel like daddy’s close to home! It brightens my heart to see so much love my husband a father having so much love for our kids & willing to do cartwheels for the kids to make thier day easier & brighter! He is well known among his friends & coworkers as a “family man.” Many know & have complimented the dedication he has towards our kids. I’m a very blessed to have such an outstanding husband as the father of our kids! Our Kids are very blessed to have the father that they have!

  20. My husband is an amazing father and he loves our son so much. He is so great with our son. He is definitely the fun parent and our son loves to play and be silly with his daddy! He is very much a tech guy and loves any kind of gadget so it would be the best father’s day gift ever if I could win the Samsung Galaxy Tab for him. He deserves to have something fun like this because he works so hard to provide for us. He is the best husband and father and he has made so many sacrifices for our family to be happy.

  21. My husband is the greatest father in the whole world because even though he is not the biological father to our son, he has shown nothing but love to him. He puts aside all the hardship that comes along with our situation and gives him everything a child should need in a dad! He cares for him as if he has been there since day one, shows him discipline when he needs it, and a true connection like no other. Even though he is deployed right now, he still took the time to record a video reading learning books for our son!!!!! It just makes me thank God for having everything and anything I ever wanted in a husband, a father to our children, and especially a best friend!

  22. It is an honor to be married to a man Like
My husband he took on me and my two children when they were 4&5 we were married when they were 8&9 and had our son 4 months later needless
To say no honey moon for us as preparations were being made and
He then left for his second tour 3months After our son was born never
really getting The opportunity to embrace the bonding period
he was able to return in time for his first birthday but As the 1st
year is one Of the most imPressionable The reconnection would take
some time Which would be cut short 9 months later As he was shipped
off to Korea!!! Returning a yr later to our first PCS in progress again
Not much time to reconnect as we arrived to our new station we had
To hit the ground running to find a home for our children and sufficient
Schools as well as him signing in to start work… We have been at our new place for roughly 6 months and just found out he will deploy again for the fourth time in the almost seven yrs we have been together…Through it all he has been More than army strong he has been our rock our foundation that has helped Keep us together and going strong during all of these great changes we have Endured as a family and we love him more than anything for all he is and does for us!!! Happy Fathers Day Daddy we love you!!!

  23. Well this is not about my husband, but my son. He is a great father to my two grand-daughters. He has sacrificed birthdays and holidays in order to provide for his family. He.spent 27 months in Afghanistan, but through all of it he was always thinking about his.girls at home. He is always with his girls when not working, taking them to the park, teaching his 3 yr old to fish, ride her bike, even taking her for a very special day.at the little princess spa for a day of pampering and daddy daughter time. He loves his girwls beyond belief.

  24. My husband is the most amazing daddy I have ever seen!!! I have a daughter from a previous marriage and he has excepted her as his own. He loves her and treats her just the same as he does our daughter. She also thinks of him as her daddy, she calls him daddy too! He spends his free time with our girls and would rather spend any Friday or Saturday with the kids. He loves being a dad, he is most proud of being a father than anything else. He gets the most joy out of watching our daughter learn something new everyday and to watch our oldest sing her little heart out. I love my husband to the moon and back!!!!!

  25. I cannot even write all the reasons why my husband is an amazing father.

Since our first child my husband has been so involved with his children. More than any other man I have ever known. From infants he has always taken the children on “dates”. They have their special one-on-one time monthly. Even through basic training, schooling, deployments, ect, he has always had special skype dates, or sends packages, letters, goofy pictures, stuff to stay connected. Our new favorite thing to do as a family is once a month we go to Waffle House and eat a big breakfast.

My favorite thing about my husban is that he goes down to their level. Plays legos, paints nails, he plays +ock Band

  26. My husband is a great dad. He show my son everything it means to be a good boy. Takes him fishing and more than likely will be taking him hunting once he is old enough. Teaches him baseball, football, and soccer. With my daughter he is so sweet and plays pretend with her when she asks and just has fun with both my kids. He is a great dad. With all his busy daily activities he still take a little time out to have one on one time with his kids and of course me. I am glad that you are doing this for the dads of the military because they are always told how proud people are for them fighting for their country but not very often do people commend them for doing that and being a great role model for their children.

  27. When we met i had a 7 year old daughter and he instantly took on the role of being her daddy. Now its almost 8 years later and we have 2 sons together and he legally adopted my daughter.he is a great provider and would do anything for all 3 of his kids.

  28. My husband, Joel the Great is the BEST Father and Husband. We have a month old baby girl and 2 year old son. He works so hard for us. He prays, he loves with his whole heart and he’s still a guy’s guy. He will teach our son to be a great man too!

  29. My husband is a amazing dad for many reasons. The most important reason for me is because he chose to be a dad. When we first started dating, I was getting our first child placed in my home as a foster parent with knowing the strong chance of adopting him. I told my husband the situation and he said before even meeting the child that he was his son, and thats how it’s been since day one. :)<3

  30. June 17 not only marks father’s day this year but our 4 year anniversary as well. My husband is such a remarkable husband and father. He does all that he can to ensure our family is taken care of. Our 2 year old son willing picks dad over mom any day! I couldn’t ask for a better husband, father and best friend!

  31. My husband is a fantastic father. He didn’t grow up in the best of homes. His parents abandoned him when he was quite young. He went active when we were a young couple with a new baby so that he could support our family better. Over the MANY MANY years, I have seen this man literally grow up from a young teenage Dad, into an amazing father, loving husband, courageous soldier & strong man. All without having anyone in his family but myself to be there for him. I couldn’t be more proud of the wonderful father he is to our children. He has sacrificed so much to be the father to them that he himself never had.

  32. My husband is a great father for so many reasons but the biggest reason of all is his love. He did not have a good role model growing up so he goes above and beyond to show his family how much they are loved. It is the little things he does like telling our son how much he loves him, always making time for a bed time story or time to just make silly faces at each other!

  33. I could type lots of reasons my husband is a good father but there is one in particular that stands out. He’s not only a father to his daughter, he raises my son as his own. It takes a real man to love and parent a child that isn’t his and he does it everyday.

  34. My Husband is and has always been such an amazing father to our two about to be be three wonderful kids. We are both young and He has done everything and anything
For them no matter how tough times would get. We had our first when he was 17 in
His last year of high school! It was hard for him but it only made him want to be a
better person for her. Two years later we had our son and he couldn’t be happier. Seeing their smiling faces everyday made him feel like the Happiest man alive. He did
everything he could to give them the best life possible. That’s what made him join the military, so he could be somebody for them to look up too. They see him now as not
Only their daddy but hero as well. Our 4 year old daughter tells everyone she wants to grow up and be just like her daddy. Our two year old son hugs him tight everyday saying daddy you’re the best. They love him more then words could explain. We. Are now due anyday with our third and I know he’s going to be the same with this one. He kisses my belly everynight. Telling. Him how much he loves him and he can’t wait to meet him. Our kids could not be more proud to say he is their daddy!

    onlon.

  35. My husband would be an amazing dad because he’s so patient and laid back- nothing at all like his type A wife. He takes excellent care of our fur babies- administering medicine, soothing them at the vet’s office, making sure to give them attention when he comes home so that they know he’s excited to see them, too. I’m sure he’ll be a good dad to human babies, too- one day.

  36. My husband is truly a selfless man. He ALWAYS puts his family first. He stepped up, and became a family man when he didn’t have to, and never looked back. He treats my son as his own, and is in the process of adopting him. He loves both of our children unconditionally.

  37. My husband is a great dad because he makes a point to call his kids every week from Afghanistan to hear about their various activities. He knows how important it is to them and goes out of his way to make it happen. He even bought them a years worth of birthday cards and other cards, signed them and had me save them for special days while he is deployed. He thinks of them first and foremost.

  38. My husband is a Great Dad because he has the biggest heart and does without to put his kids first. We have five kids between us from previous marriage and yet he is trying to adopt my daughter bc he is the only father she has had that protects and love her unconditional. He pays for all his kids and mine. Anybody can have a kid but my husband is the true meaning of a Dad… We are so blessed to have him and I thank God for bringing him into our lives !!!

  39. My husband is an amazing Dad.
He joined the Army at 37 years old and has given our children a legacy.
He does whatever it takes to take care of our family.

  40. My husband is a wonderful father. He adores our son and always puts him first. My husband loves to read books, crawl and wrestle on the floor, and make our little guy laugh. He loves our son unconditionally and that is what makes him the best father!

  41. Anyone can become an father but it takes the real guy to step up and be DAD (papa). My hubby gave it his that even deployed his kids need to hear the real answer from him. Lol! My kids are grown but will stop all plans if their papa makes plans for family dad . We are truly blessed.

  42. My husband is not a dad yet, Unfortunately we have had 5 miscarriages, but with our doctors help…. after an invasive surgery and endless months of treatments we are convinced we will have a viable pregnancy and carry to term when my husband gets home from his deployment. My husband is amazing….. he has remembered the date of every miscarriage weve had, Sent flowers and a small gift(no matter what foreign land hes in) … i know this sounds sad… but its been a beutiful gesture to get us through the bad days(especially me because he cannot call or email often) ..my husband is incredibly loving and thoughtful . He is in SF so hes been traveling all over the world…. from every destination he has bought a baby gift for our future child .. and … hes written a letter explaining every gift. his intent is to continue to do this for every place he goes. He wants our future child/children to know and understand his career choice and no matter what they are far greater in his heart. I think thats the sweetest thing ever and even though we may not qualify for this contest because we do not have children yet… I think this is a wonderful idea for every military father deployed….. i thought the women were the ones who were supposed to do all the gushy stuff! my husband is a total manly man and it is heartwarming to know that children bring out such a beautiful side to him. Our future child/children, whether by birth or adoption will hit the jackpot when they meet him! I know he will be the best Dad EVER! :)

  43. My husband is the best daddy he was so happy to come hone to his little new born baby from over seas. Our son looks up to his daddy and wants to be just like him. They have so much fun together. Even when HE HAS worked a long day and is soooo tired he still has time to play chase and give lots of piggy back rides. Our son was born the day before fathers day and my husband says he is the best fathers day present in the world.

  44. My husband is a great Dad! He sat down tonight with his daughter and made her feel better about a car accident she had earlier in the week. It was her fault and felt terrible about it even saying she messed up everything. He told her that no one is perfect and we all make mistakes in life. But what makes this even more special to me is he treats her like she is one of his children. As the saying goes anyone can be a father but it takes a special person to be a dad.

  45. My husband is a wonderful dad to our little girl. No matter how tired he is from work, he is always there for our daughter. It doesnt matter if its cuddling on the couch watching a movie, chasing her around playing tag, crawling around giving pony rides, or just listening to her try to tell him about her day, daddys there giving his 100%. Her daddy is and will always be her hero!

  46. My husband is an amazing father for so many reasons. When he is home, he has more patience than I’ve ever seen. He will sit on the floor and play barbies with our daughter for hours on end or bake brownies and have a tea party with her and all her babies or stuffed animals. But his commitment and love for our daughter doesn’t stop there. While he is deployed, he not only sends home packages to us but he writes her letter that we have been saving and compiling in a book for her to always have. And I don’t just mean letters as to what he is doing for her to understand 10 years from now. He writes them in a way for her to understand them and they are so cute. Even just a simple “Daddy had to go away to help keep the bad guys away from hurting you but will be home real soon” .. just absolutely melts my heart. He is an amazing father (and husband) and I couldn’t ask for more!

  47. My husband would be an amazing father because after struggling with fertility and being told that we may never have children, he truly knows what it is to want and to appreciate the joys that fatherhood would bring. He is the most caring person I have ever met, always putting others before him. He is also one of the funniest and most laid back people. He knows how to take care of his family all while making them laugh. Ultimately, he will make an amazing father when he finally gets back home and we can try again. :)

  48. My husband may not be the greatest man in the universe but he is the greatest man i know. He is kind, caring and compassionate. We have five kids ranging from 3 to the oldest who just graduated high school. We also have a special needs foster. In all the uears we have been married i have never heardy husband complain or take anyone for granted. He is completely dedicated to our family and all other children and adults who pass through our lives. He is truly an amazinan. If you have had the pleasure to become his friend you already know how blessed we are and how blessed you are to have this wonderful man in your life. I do not know if he is the most amazong man and father but he is the most amazing to me and our children. I have neveret another wife who was ever able to say that they have never heard thier husband get upset or yell. My amazing husband has never yelled in our home and the patients he exibits sets him out on top of all others for me. I am also pleaed to announce that before he made the army a career choice he was one of the best child and youth mentors and youth pastors around. Whether he wins this prize from sams clib or not it always makes me proud to salute him. He is my friend, my husband and my hero! Good luck to all the other applicants i have read them all and it seems as though we all have some pretty amazing men in our lives!!!!! Happy fathers day to all the daddys in the world!!!!!!

  49. My husband has rely stepped up to the plate once I had our little girl on Christmas last year after only being home 2 days from a deployment. We both are first time parents who are trying to figure this out as we go and with him being in a spec op unit he is gone so much from our life because of all the rapid deployments. If he was to when this tablet he would be able to carry it anywhere he goes do can always look at our babygirl and how she grows even though he isn’t right there with us. He always thinks of her when he is gone last time he flew a flag in her honor just in case something ever happens to him just so she will know he always thought about her and loved her.

  50. My husband is a father to our beautiful children and to my nephew. He has chosen to set the ultimate example of love to our children by honoring, respecting and loving their mother. He grew up without a dad, and is determined to change our family tree by being the best dad possible for our little angels! He takes nothing for himself and gives everything for us. So I’d love to be able to give him something special :)
