Taya Kyle the wife of the slain former Navy Seal behind the Oscar nominated movie “American Sniper” will release a memoir in which she will share her marriage to Chris Kyle, his death, and life as a military spouse.
The book is called “American Wife: A Memoir of Love, War, Faith and Renewal and is already available on Amazon for pre-order in anticipation of it’s May 4th release. According to the book’s sale page on Amazon: “The widow of “American Sniper” Chris Kyle shares her private story: an unforgettable testament to the power of love and faith in the face of war and unimaginable loss–and a moving tribute to a man whose true heroism ran even deeper than the legend”.
Taya’s husband Chris Kyle was a veteran of the war in Iraq, and is known to the deadliest sniper in American history. Kyle who had endured and survived four combat tours was shot dead in Texas at a shooting range in 2013.
In 2014 acclaimed actor Clint Eastwood brought “American Sniper” to the big screen in which it broke several box office records, and brought in over $500 million. The movie was also nominated for 6 Academy Awards.
