Beauty: I’m Getting Coverlicious With CoverGirl and Rent The Runway + A Giveaway For Army Wife 101 Readers

I love makeup! My mom as strict as she was (and still is) is a huge makeup fan and shockingly let me wear lipstick and blush from a pretty early age.

As the years have progressed makeup has evolved and I have a ball trying out different colors and experimenting with different looks. My excitement peaked when I recently had the chance to try out the one of the new COVERGIRL Colorlicious Lipstick. The lipsticks comes in 36 different shades and since I had been wanting to try out some fall like shades I decided to try out color #335 called “Tantalize Titiller” which is in the berry family. Not only did I like the color but since I experience issues with dry lips in the winter the moisture in this lipstick was great for me.

This year I plan on getting glammed for New Year’s Eve and I really want to make sure that I have some color that pops. I find that using lipstick with color is an easy way to add a pop of color even if you don’t want to go overboard in the color area. In addition to my pop of color on my lips I will be pairing it with an amazingly sexy dress from Rent The Runway that simmers and glows. I chose it because it’s knee length, has long sleeves , but still is a bit revealing without being revealing. Rent The Runway is a great way to rent a designer dress very inexpensively. Keep this in mind for military ball season!
