I came up with this quick kid friendly dish while the hubby was deployed , because many times I would want a hearty meal but did not want to cook alot of food since the kidlets like to waste. Remember I don’t do exact measurements so base ingredient amounts according to the size of your family. This is also great for some of you new wives or husbands who want to learn how to cook and need easy meals. Believe me if you make this , your spouse will think you really did some heavy duty work.

Note* You can do this with chicken as well , but I like the way pork cubes better*

Ingredients

1 Pack of Boneless Porkchops

1 Bottle of Hunts BBQ Sauce (or whichever you prefer)

Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Pepper

Salt (optional)

1 Onion

1 Green Pepper ( I didn’t have one but it’s good in this dish)

Few Teaspoons of Olive Oil

White Rice

The Ingredients You Will Need
Cut your boneless porkchops into small cubes and dice your onion as well (Onion not pictured sorry) you would also cut your green pepper too.
Season your meat with the seasonings mentioned in the ingredient list
Combine seasonings into meat and then add along with onions and green peppers into non stick pan...Check out the video clip below to watch.

After meat is cooked throughly and onion are tender add ½ to 1 Whole bottle of BBQ Sauce
Let Simmer for 15-20 minutes
Meal Done Place Meat & sauce on top of white rice...Yes that is a Christmas Plate and a pack was on sale for $1.49 at the commissary ...don't laugh at me

  1. This is such a good idea. I would have never thought to cut up the pork chops like that! The next time they are on sale I am going to try this recipe.

  2. I’m going to try that, it looks yummy! I make something similar, rice, green onions cooked in a skillet with chicken cut into small pieces and peas, friend off in a skillet with the soy sauce, my hubby loves it!

  3. I am going to try this out tomorrow! My son LOVES BBQ sauce on everything so I’m sure he would like this. Thanks!!
