You read that right “JCPenny” in partnership with “Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America” will randomly select over six thousand service members to receive $200 GC to help them in their transition back  from a combat zone and in starting a civilian wardrobe. The giftcard will help with items such as clothing and shoes.

The Details

1. The service member must visit IAVA and create an account. There is no fee to become a member. Membership approval can take anywhere between 7-10 days.

2. Once membership approval is received your hero may then head on over to here to submit an application to be one of the 6000+ chosen to win a well deserved apparel gc.

3. Proof of deployment and service is required.

4. If selected gift cards will be for the gender of the service member only and can be used in store or online.

While this offer is not for spouses or dependents (unless you have served in a combat zone) it is great for those who have military members who will be transitioning into the civilian life.

  1. This is great but its for VETERANS who need it for clothing to venture out in the the work field of civilian life. Its for clothes so I hope no one abuses it.

  2. My husband is out in the field until mid November, so I’m signing him up for it. I would love this for him, he keeps talking about how he needs new civilian clothes and a pair of sneakers.
