The Gold’s Gym chain has just announced that they will now offer a 20% discount starting this Memorial Day.

From the PR:

As part of Gold’s Gym’s Military Discount Program, all U.S. Military and their spouses will save 20 percent off regular dues at any participating Gold’s Gym and can enroll anytime throughout the year for a reduced fee of only $49. A military I.D. must be shown as proof of eligibility prior to gym activation.

In addition they will partner with the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association’s (IHRSA) “Joining Forces Network” to offer free memberships to immediate family members of actively deployed reservists and National Guard members.

All active duty, national guard, reserves, veterans/retirees, disabled service members and an additional household member and/or spouse are eligible to participate in the program. To join, new members must visit http://www.goldsgym.com/militarydiscount and enter their zip code to locate their nearest Gold’s Gym. An email confirmation notice will be sent for printing and to take into the selected Gold’s Gym to complete activation.

  1. Thanks for the info. Could you let your followers know about the MyCAA programs for military spouses. They are given money to go back to school (while the funds are available). As long as you take n AA degee or lower you can qualify. We have a page on our site that talks about it and would be happy to answer any questions people have about the program or how they can qualify.
