Hi I'm Krystel

Welcome to Army Wife 101!

For my readers don’t be confused I know you know who I am but many don’t and because I am participating in the “Military Spouse Appreciation Day Blog Hop” via Riding The Roller Coaster and Household 6 Diva , I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce myself again.

Hubby returning from Iraq July of 2010

I am a thirty year old mom, wife and blogger who resides here in Spring Lake, NC right outside the gates of Fort Bragg , NC. I have been a military wife my entire married life but an Army Wife for the past six years . Four weeks ago hubby ETS’ed out of the Army and is now  part of the North Carolina National Guard and applying to be Active Guard which would put us right back on Active Duty Again LOL!

My beautiful family

Three years ago when I begin Army Wife 101 I was bored and chose this name not ever thinking about whether I would or would not be an Army Wife at some point in the future. That being said the Army life will always be a part of my life so I don’t mind the name so much. Even though this is the case I blog about any and everything there is to talk about from my travels, to who pissed me off ,  favorite tv shows , giveaways and so much more.

I begin blogging as a space for me to get whatever crazy thought are in my head at the moment out. Fortunately for my readers I also created the Randomnista as another of my rambling spots. I am down to earth and known for being blunt with compassion. I make lots of videos and talk about food alot!

I love love love cooking when time permit and I like massive feast lol!

I am obsessed with French Fries and old tv shows and my life usually consists of me laying in the bed blogging , hanging with my kids and cracking  jokes with my husband.

Blogging has made my life alittle more interesting since I have gotten invited to quite a few really big events and have gotten to do some amazing things. Other then that I am just a simple Long Island girl planted here in good ole Fort Bragg , NC where no matter what I do I can’t seem to get away from the military, but that’s okay I love this life and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I won’t bore you with any more details but here are some pictures from fun and important moments of my life as well as things I enjoy doing.

First Easter Back In NC
Interviewing Toyota Mother's of Invention at Women in The World Summit NYC
Obsessed with these cupcakes from Back In The Day Bakery Savannah GA
Me Scared As Hell on The Ed Show on MSNBC
Interviewing Queen Latifah ...One of the best moments of my life!
Easily one of the best moments of my life

That’s my life, me and my family in so many words and pictures!

  1. Hi Krystel! First off, thank you for stopping by my blog for a visit.. I have been a reader of your blog for a long time and it is great to officially meet you! I absolutely love your sense of humor and I even used your posts about living in Hawaii to persuade my husband not to add that to our list of PCS “places we’d like to go”.. I don’t do bugs.. Or traffic.. Or heat.. Hahaha! He doesn’t like rice and loves Applebee’s, so he was definitely willing to skip over Hawaii on the list.

Thank you again for stopping by! Nice to meet you!
