The holidays have come and gone and boy I am glad. I can now avoid all the yummy sweets I probably shouldn’t have ate. Winter break is over and I am reclaiming some of the money back into my pockets that I spent too much of.

One of the ways I was able to do that was with the AT&T GOPhone my son has . If you read my blog often you will remember that I’ve been documenting why I love this phone so much and why it has been good for my now 10 year old. I have a sixteen year old who of course has a fancy fruit related smart phone and naturally my little guy wanted one himself. However, ten year olds don’t need pricey fruit related phones with pricey plans.

AT&T has however taken care of that issue with their affordable no contract plans per month in which we have the $45 plan. Again this is an affordable one for us since it allows unlimited phone and text plus 1GB of internet. My son has a nice smart phone and the ease of the plans allows me to teach him financial responsibility by letting him earn his minutes and text monthly.

Homewise with the holidays came winter break and that meant constant interaction with friends for my son. You see him and “boyz” are big Mindcraft and Roblox fans and since they were off I allowed him quite a bit of additional phone and play time. Thankfully him having his own smart phone allowed him not to tie up my cell phone or our house phone.

I know military life sometimes comes with a bit of uncertainty in terms of where you are going to live and much more . Having no commitment makes it easy to end the relationship when you have to up and leave. At&T has a $45 Unlimited talk, text and 1 GBdata plan with the GoPhone. You receive unlimited nationwide texting and talking along with 1GB of data. You can also add on 500 more MB of data for $10 more. You can also talk to your peeps in Canada and Mexico unlimited for an extra $10 a month.

All I know is this phone is going everywhere with us without eating my wallet up.
