I love it when Hollywood teams up with our heroes! It is even better when a movie is written to showcase the amazing duties they are called on to do everyday.

Act Of Valor does just that. Blending the real life experiences of actual Navy SEALS with seasoned actors to recreate fictionalized version of real Navy SEALS operation almost brings you right in the middle of the action.

Produced and directed by former Baja 1000 champion Mike “Mouse” McCoy and former stuntman Scott Waugh, and written by Kurt Johnstad (300), the film opened #1 in America when it was theatrically-released on February 24, 2012.

As a military wife bringing awareness to the level of bravery required of our soldiers is essential in giving the proper recognition these great men and women are deserving of. Act Of Valor is a must see! Twentieth Century Fox is teaming up with Operation Homefront to make sure you get your copy.

  4. Oh gosh, like so many of us I’m sure, how do I narrow it down to one?! I think it certainly takes a truly special person to defend our freedom!!

Something special about my hubby?? PERSISTENCE and that “NEVER BACK DOWN” attitude!

    I have to explain a little …

Even though I didn’t know it at the time, I think I saw something special in my hubby almost 13 years ago. We met freshman year in high school, and even though he claims he asked me out every single day, we never dated (he was a very nice guy and we were friends, but I was too focused on school). No matter how many times I *supposedly* shot him down, he never gave up.

Even now, he’s still the same sweet guy, and I think it’s pretty darn special that he somehow captured my heart way back when, even though I’ll never let him know that! ;)

He’s my hero, both as my hubby and my soldier!!

  5. My husband does everything he can just for his family that is why he joined the army to support us. He also re enlisted to go closer to my family instead of taking a bonus like most soldiers because he knew it would make me happier.

  6. My husband does whatever it takes to get the job done for country and family. He works hard a job he doesn’t always like.

  7. My husband has an incredible work ethic! I’ve never seen anybody work as hard as he does to provide. It was a major thing that made me fall in love with him. Plus, he looks great in uniform!

  8. One special thing about my soldier… He is determined. Determine to achieve greatness through hardwork. Determined to make sure my needs are being met. Determined to support his fellow soldiers. Determined to serve his country to the best of his ability. My husband is determined in every aspect of his life.

  9. My husband is a committed determined soldier. He does whatever it takes to get the job done even if it means having to stay late. He always makes sure his soldiers are taken care of. He is great role model.

  10. my soldier was my cousin and he is truly a hero who has trouble readjusting to life out of the military

  11. My hubby is an amazing man. He does so much for our country. He has been in 10 years strong now and loves every min of it. Such a strong man.

  12. My fiance loves his job, and has been on the fast track to success in the army and I couldn’t be more proud. He loves serving, and he loves what he’s doing. And no matter what he’s doing or where he is, he is there for me. He is the definition of Army Strong, and we have an Army Strong love!

  13. My husband is a retired MSG who served with pride in Desert Storm & Afghanistan as a medic/nurse. Good luck to all & thanks to all for their service.
