Just received word that Bolongo Bay Beach Resorts located in St. Thomas US Virgin Islands is showing their appreciation for our troops by offering a 50% discount on destination weddings held at their resort.

The discount is available year-round, with no expiration date, and on any length of stay. It excludes food and beverage and is subject to availability.
Destination wedding packages with the discount begin at $500 for the “Barefoot on the Beach” package, which includes wedding coordinator services, clergy, wedding ceremony on the beach, bottle of Champagne, two keepsake flutes, witnesses, a Save your Shoes room-to-beach bridal shuttle and more”.
I’m also loving the fact that they paid special attention to the fact that at any anytime orders can come or deployments can happen so they have also waived the cancellation fee for military as well.

Oh how I wish we could do this. Our 10th wedding anniversary is on Wednesday the 18th of Jan and our wedding was done at the courthouse with 5 guys, I didn’t even know and my husband had to go back to work the next day. I know a lot of military wives have had to do the same thing and I think this is awesome of them to do, just wish we had the money. Maybe on our 20th :-D

Omg!!! Thus is amazing!!! My husband us deployed to Afg right now so we haven’t gotten to have a wedding:( we are married, but are hoping to have an actual ceremony some day! Although we did get married by the justice if the peace LUCKLY 9 days before our daughter came almost 7 weeks early and had to spend almost 2 weeks in the Nicu:(. Thank heavens we did, bc it allowed our daughters emergency c section and Nicu care to be covered by TriCare! We’d LOVE to have a ceremony and we love the beach! It would be wonderful to renew our vows without the fear of my pregnancy hanging over us!!! And 50% off!!! That would help us tremendously with all the medical expenses we still have!
