As you know last year I was in a terrible accident that made me look at vehicles differently. Although I ended up purchasing another  SUV as my replacement vehicle , my husband and I have been discussing adding a car to our household. I recently had the chance to review the 2012 Toyota Camry SE for a weekend and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I completely fell in love with this car , it’s smoothness and how safe I felt in it. Safety for me is huge and despite what some may think I can assure you I felt completely secure. Considering I barely have wanted to drive the last year, it’s amazing that I was flying around the road in the Camry in no time.

I also know that cars are the hot commodity in military life. Seems like everyone is always upgrading or buying a new car whether it’s just because you want to or the new arrival of a baby has you upgrading for more space. I thought it would be fun to partake in some car reviews for those of you who are considering a Toyota purchase down the line.

Quick Facts Of What I Enjoyed About The Camry Se

* The outside exterior body reminded me of a sporty luxury car but without the price tag.

* The acceleration (especially when getting on the highway) was amazing. It really moves and takes no time for it to reach the perfect speed for merging.

*I am really loving the camera for when you back up. My driveway is on a huge hill so seeing behind can be a bit difficult. The back up camera is the perfect solution for this problem.

*The amount of space in the car as well as the trunk was simply amazing for a car. I loved that even in my seat belt I wasn’t so confined that I couldn’t see what my kids were doing in the back. I found the backseat to be airy and have plenty of room.

* We also enjoyed the sun roof at night when we took an evening ride.

I felt so free in this car …check out this outside clip of me pulling off in it:

All in all I can’t say their were any cons . I can only go by what I know about cars and the main feature I look for is how comfortable I feel when I am driving it. I would say the biggest issue I had was starting the car. I assumed that since it had a simple button that when you pushed it the car would automatically start. Little did I know you had to put your foot on the break but once I figured that out it was smooth sailing from there.
