Everyone loves deals and discounts especially on the stuff we actually need to survive like FOOD! Not that coupons aren’t on everyones radar in this day and time but I know in the military community they are a hot commodity. The commissary for the most part offers really good prices and those of us who shop there feel like we can get a better bang for our buck when we match coupons up with their already low prices on several items. I personally find that I do better shopping there on the kids snack items that they use for school lunch and also breakfast items.
Everyone is trying to save where they can, so I couldn’t wait to share with you this new program I learned about specifically for military called the “General Mills Military Region Savings Program”.
In a nutshell General Mills has created a program for “military only” and those authorized to shop in the base commissaries that will allow you to get commissary only coupon savings sent to you email that can be used in your local commissaries.
How Do I Sign Up?
Simply text GMSAVE to 82857 and you will start receiving exclusive General Mills commissary only coupons in your email. You will also be alerted when other products are on sale , new General Mills products coming to your commissary. You can expect 4 alerts per month.
Coupons will be sent to your email and will have to be printed and brought along on your shopping trip to the commissary. Should you have trouble printing the coupons which will be via Coupons.com then you can visit http://print.coupons.com/couponweb/help/print/index.html for assistance.
I have already signed up ( which was really quick and not a bunch of hassle) , received my email confirmation and I look forward to receiving coupons hopefully for some breakfast items plus more .
