April is the month of the “military child” and Blue Star Families want to celebrate it with their Outstanding Military Child Certificate Program. Every military child is eligible for this program and this is a great way to let the little ones know that their sacrifice doesn’t go unnoticed.
In Their Words:
Parents interested in requesting certificates for their children may visit bluestarfam.org/milkidzcertificate, fill out one form per child and submit. We will generate a certificate that will then be emailed to the family within 10 days of submission. This is a great way for families to recognize their children for the sacrifices that they also make for their own families and our country.n
Groups Or Organizations with Large Groups of Military Children
Another option we are offering is group certificates for Family Readiness Groups, schools or other centers with large military child populations to recognize their military kids. Groups can email Maria at
ApOpp@bluestarfam.org and request certificates of recognition. Many groups who have contacted us will be holding special ceremonies or celebrations to honor their military kids at school assemblies, FRG meetings, or other special events.
