As an avid movie goer I certainly wish to avoid the expense of the movie theater because let’s be honest the movies are no longer affordable entertainment anymore.

However I was more then thrilled to share this tidbit with you that I verified with an AAFES rep.

If you or your family members are into the Marvel Comics then I am sure you have heard the the excitement building about the soon to be released Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The following installations will have a studio appreciation screening of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on March 29 FREE of charge to military personnel and their families:

·         Fort Campbell

·         Fort Hood

·         Fort Leonard wood

·         Fort Drum

·         Fort Jackson

·         Joint Base Lewis-McChord

·         Travis Air Force Base

·         Fort Belvoir

·         Goodfellow AFB

·         Hickam AFB

·         Schofield Barracks

According to the AAFES rep movie times will vary based on location so you will need to contact your local Exchange for details on where to pick up tickets and theater info. I will add that some individual base websites are reporting that tickets will be available in the AAFES food court.

Captain America The Winter Soldier will hit regular theatres nationwide April 4, 2014.
