Being the TV junky I am , I am a huge fan of the Daytime TV show “The Doctors”. I mostly tune in to see Dr. Travis (Stork) for the eye candy. However, I do love all the information they share about health and the fun format in which it’s presented.
I am excited to share that on tomorrow’s (12/18) episode of “The Doctors” they will be honoring military and law enforcement personnel in a special holiday themed show. Guests will be honored with surprise giveaways and beauty makeovers.
The best part is a Vet who was injured while serving in Afghanistan will deliver a special holiday treat to his girlfriend with a surprise proposal.
Sgt. Joe Gracia of San Diego was serving in the infantry in Afghanistan until 2007 when an IED explosion caused him to lose his right leg. He and his girlfriend of six years, Nicole Stuller came on the show to tell his story and THE DOCTORS surprised Joe with a new Smart Chair electric wheelchair and also gave Nicole, who has been caring for Joe since they first met, with a surprise makeover. Later in the show, the newly made-over Nicole receives the surprise of her life as Gracia proposes to her in front of an audience filled with military and law enforcement personnel.
I love surprise proposals but I love when I can watch a military one. Yes, call me bias if you must! Additionally “The Doctors” will be sharing “important holiday safety information, including four specific holiday health hazards to be aware of, and a special holiday foods edition of Which is Worse. Later, lifestyle expert Moll Anderson helps pick out some innovative holiday gift ideas”.
This episode of “The Doctors” premieres 12/18/13. Check your local listings for channels and times.
