I freely admit that I am no Martha Stewart when it comes to house cleaning. That being said if there is nothing else I do daily , I do make sure to vacuum. I swear the house can look like a bomb exploded but if I vacuum I swear in some weird way the house is clean. Then again that can just be my crazy mind.

I recently had the chance to try out and give away a Dirt Devil Extreme Cyclonic Quick Vac.

From the site:

Dirt Devil® Extreme™ Cyclonic Quick Vac. Small and compact this lightweight vac maneuvers easily so there is no strain when doing the stairs. With conveniently stored tools and hose, you can vacuum above floor and in tight spaces with ease. Plus, you are able to rinse your HEPA media filter to prolong the life of your filter.

I do have to admit when I first received the vacuum I automatically thought it was too small for my 2 story home. Then I realized one of the biggest issues that I had been experiencing with my current monster sized vacuum is not having the strength to lift it up and down the staircase every time I need to use it .

For me personally the Dirt Devil Extreme Cyclonic fixed this because it has all the features of a normal sized heavy duty vac except that it is super light weight. My stairs are very happy because they have been getting a cleaning almost daily instead of once a week.

This vacuum is now considered my stairs and living room vacuum.

The second most important thing to me is suction and pick up. That is definitely not a major worry with the Cyclonic Quick Vac because this little thing has major power. While it is a little loud , I didn’t mind considering that the suction is great. Do keep in mind that the dirt cup fills quickly so you will need to dump more then usual but it certainly does the job by picking up well.

The cord length is good and I am basing that on the size of my room which is pretty large.

Lastly as I mentioned above this vac can do anything a bigger vacuum can do to a degree. It has all the attachments which are great for getting crumbs and dirt out of corners and under the couch. It also comes with a other attachments which I haven’t quite had to use yet.

All in all I would recommend this vacuum for someone with a small apartment or who has a section of their house they are tired of carrying their main vacuum to.
