During the military holidays and months of honor I receive lots of news and military related happenings to share from various businesses that are doing special things to help and celebrate our heroes.
Although I received this campaign during Armed Forces Month I didn’t get a chance a chance to share it with you all and if you are looking for ways to support our military this one is easy.
AOL recently launched their Homepage For Heroes whose donations will support the private telephone network (PTN) in USO Centers overseas, which allows for troops in combat zones to make calls and access computers with high speed connections and also provides wireless access for servicemen that may have their own computer on base.
This is all in support of the USO Operation Phone Home program.
Simply visit AOL’s Homepage For Heroes and make AOL your homepage. Just doing that donates 10 minutes of “talk time”!
