Happy The Hippo

It’s not Christmas yet and I still have some fun last minute gift features for our holiday guide that you can give or send to a loved one.

Our military guys and gals do a lot of physical work. Physical work can definitely make for a sore body. Here in my household this was an everyday thing for my husband. He always was having some kind of aches or pains that required the heating pad or one of those disposable heating patches.

Recently I was sent Thermal Aid Zoo Heating and Cooling Packs. They make great stocking stuffers or just gifts for a person with a child and are all natural. They are the best for pain relieving pain and helping to reduce swelling. Making the pack cool was simple as we just threw it in the freezeer for a few hours. The directions say 5 hours but for some reason with my freezer I think we only had it in there about 3 hours. To make it warm place in microwave for about 45 seconds.

Both me and my son were the testers in the house. He used the pack cold for his cheek after he had some dental work done to reduce the swelling and I used the heat portion on my knee which I experience pain from since I have a torn ACL.While the Thermal Zoo packs are recommended for kids 3+ I loved using them and I think they are cute for sending in a care package overseas. We know even the strongest soldier can be big baby’s LOL!The pack is washable and you do not have to worry about mold forming because of the unique process and the specialized corn used to create the pack. I think parents will also appreciate that the packs are Dr recommended.

Heating and cooling packs by Thermal-Aid were developed by our Bio-Engineers and Doctors that worked closely with milling experts using a unique patented process, which removes the embryo/germ tip cap and outer coat from each kernel of corn. This leaves the purest and cleanest portion of the corn product. This process hardens the specialized de-germinated corn, allowing it to hold temperatures evenly for long periods of time. It also eliminates mold, fungi and foul odors often associated with natural heating/cooling products.

Thermal Aid and Thermal Zoo Packs retail for less then $30 and can be purchased at retailers such as CVS , BJ’s Costco , HSN and more. We received the Thermal Zoo Hippo which retails for $19.99.The Zoo packs come in several different animals. You can learn more about them at:
