Support The Troops and Operation Homefront By Eating Pie With Mrs.Smith

I'm a giver and I love to eat. I talk about giving alot here on Army Wife 101 and I talk about about my favorite recipes so you can imagine how awesome I am to share a way you can eat one of my holiday favorites (pie) and donate at the same time.

First let me say that this past Thanksgiving one of my guests brought two Mrs. Smith’s pies and both got burned in the oven because we were to busy yapping and having a great time. Needless to say I didn't get my pie fix!

While doing my Christmas dinner shopping I picked up another Mrs. Smith pie…Deep Dish Pumpkin With Cream Cheese Icing to be exact. I like doing semi-homeade. I am doing all my dinner from scratch so I make dessert easy on myself and Mrs.Smith's pies  taste about as close to homemade as I am gonna get.

One of the awesome things happening this month is that for every pie purchased Mrs. Smith's will donate $1 to Operation Homefront. This a great organization and I have talked about the great things they do for our troops in the past. 

In addition I wanted to tell you about their holiday e-card microsite that I visited in which you can send a card to friends and family members. It's always good to let someone know you are thinking about them especially in a easy way. There are 2 different card choices and you can send up to 45+ people at one time.
