Rule #1 of living in military housing is to keep the floors clean in order to prevent having to pay for the replacement of carpet that we know housing just loves to charge us for hehe!

Part of my cleaning regiment is a daily vacuum of my carpets. If I don’t do anything else I make sure to do this.

I like to have a easy , light vacuum especially since I have a two story home that requires going up and down stairs so bulkiness is not an option for me as well as the vacuum being easy to use and care for.

Dirt Devil® Extreme™ Cyclonic Quick Vac. Small and compact this lightweight vac maneuvers easily so there is no strain when doing the stairs. With conveniently stored tools and hose, you can vacuum above floor and in tight spaces with ease. Plus, you are able to rinse your HEPA media filter to prolong the life of your filter.

You can learn more about the Dirt Devil Extreme Cyclonic Vac here.

I will be trying out the Extreme Cyclonic myself soon but in the mean time Dirt Devil wants you to keep your floors clean too and thanks to them one of my lucky Army Wife 101 readers will have a chance to win one.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Disclosure: The vacuum prize is part of a promotional
program with The Mommy Factor and DirtDevil. I will also receive a
vacuum for review purposes. No other compensation was received. Views
expressed are always 100% my own.

  1. This would be better 100 times better than the vacuum I have now. So would love to win! :)

  2. I would love to win! We have boys & pets and could use it! Thanks for always having such great giveaways!

  3. In desperate need of a new vacuum we finally bought a house nd when moving home from Hawaii the movers broke our vacuum. Would love a light weight one at is easy to maneuver due to health issues.

  4. I would love a new vacuum! With a new house, 2 cats and a baby on the way, Lord knows I could use all the help I could get in the cleaning department!

  5. Ohhh I need this. My vac is on the outs with me. 5 dogs, a one year old, and a baby on the way…my floor is begging to stay clean. (dont forget the sand brought in from my soldiers boots!!!)

  6. I would love having this vacuum because I have two dogs, that equals 150lbs of Canine hairy bodies in the house, plus my hair, my husband’s hair and out kids plus general dust and carpet in 90% of the rental house. Its a pain to keep up on especially when we both work full time, but if I had a brand new vacuum I could do it in half the time!

  7. The vaccum I had just stopped working… And having three kids its hard to go without one. Sweeping carpet is too tough on me and still doesnt get it all lol

  8. I hate that military housing screws us over by crap like that.. our last duty station, they came and inspected then proceeded to rip the carpet to the center of the livingroom to make sure there was no strains from my dog… then charged me for the destruction of the carpet, we fought that but still had to pay $150 for professional carpet cleaning because they put white carpet of all colors to choose.(enough with my rant) how does this vacuum do with pet hair? thats my one pet (get it..lol) peeve is that I buy these vacuums and they crap out on me with in 6 months, im one of these people that vacuums several times daily. Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming and I am glad to see your back online!

  9. I like that it fits into tight places. There are some areas in my house I have a hard time fitting the vacuum into to vacuum

  10. With my dogs and being prego this would help my back out ! Thanks for always doing cool giveaways !
