There’s no better way to count down the 61 days left until Christmas then celebrating not only holiday movies, but Hallmark Publishing’s brand new holiday book releases.
I love when we slip from the cool Fall breeze to the cold Winter weather and can relax in front of the fireplace with a good book, a nice glass of wine, and a warm throw. It truly is the best time of the year! Hallmark in general always makes me think of small towns with amazing coffee shops, good food and holiday festivals with pretty decorations which is why I love their movies and books.
Sidebar: Fayetteville, North Carolina home to Fort Bragg [82nd Airborne] downtown area absolutely reminds me of a scene from a Hallmark book. It’s lined with cobblestone, a cute coffee shop, great local food, a historic B&B, and a Dickens festival during the holidays.
Speaking of military we love covering Hallmark during the holidays because it lets us know Christmas is upon us. We also love how Hallmark always makes sure to incorporate military and Veterans in their books and movies.
Their latest book releases are perfect gifts for the book reader in your family, and include recipes inspired by the stories themselves.
This season, Hallmark Publishing is releasing four (4) NEW heartwarming books such as On Christmas Avenue (9.21), Mistletoe in Juneau (10.19), Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope (10.26), and Christmas in Evergreen: Bells are Ringing (11.2).”
About “Mistletoe in Juneau”
Danni’s a social media influencer who’s way out of her element. She sort-of broke up with her boyfriend-slash-manager, and she escaped her fast-paced life in L.A. to spend Christmas with an old friend in Juneau, Alaska. Danni takes in the beauty of the scenery and the warmth of the community…and she’s drawn to the local sheriff.
Before Declan was the sheriff, he was in the Army. An IED explosion cost him his leg…and his fiancée, who couldn’t deal with the injury. He knows Danni’s a city girl, while he loves the Alaskan wilderness. Could two very different people find what their hearts are looking for?
Super Simple Chocolate Cake
In Mistletoe in Juneau, Declan owes Danni an apology. So he walks into his mom’s bakery and asks her for “a really good cake recipe—as simple as you’ve got.” His mom gives him this one. He’s a little doubtful about the “secret ingredient”—mayonnaise—but the cake is delicious, and Danni forgives him immediately. Even if you’re like Declan and don’t have any baking experience, this moist chocolate cake will win anybody over.

I’m most excited about how different this season will look compared to last year’s season in lockdown. I’ll get to see the faces of my beautiful family and friends IN PERSON and hopefully visit a Christmas market or two during our last Christmas overseas. This season is always so nostalgic for me. Can’t wait to see what it holds
I’m looking forward to spending time with my husband and daughter. Hubby was deployed in Jordan and recently returned. He leaves again for two months in January so at least we will celebrate Christmas together! I’m looking forward to seeing Christmas decorations and hot cocoa!
I’m excited to spend time with my family, decorating for Christmas, and all the yummy baking and cooking that comes with the season.
Im recently married so I can’t wait to start new traditions with my husband this Christmas . Watching Christmas movies and going to see lights . We just got stationed in a new state so this will be our first Christmas away from family .
Love to read.
The best part about the holidays is just being with my family! I live with my husband and our two daughters. Our daughters are 6 and 8 years old. I am looking forward to baking and decorating gingerbread cookies with them, which we do traditionally every year. I am also looking forward to doing various holiday crafts with them. My daughters also love drawing holiday pictures and making cards for several neighbors and surprising them with it. I am also looking forward to watching holiday movies with my family. I love watching Hallmark Christmas movies with my husband. We try to watch them all!
I’m so excited to celebrate Christmas with my husband and kids. It will be our sons first Christmas, he’s seven months old. I’m excited for my husband to experience the holidays with both kids, but especially to be here for the baby’s firsts, he was deployed for our oldest child’s first holidays so this is all new for him!!
Christmas is my favourite holiday! And this year it’s extra special because it’s our daughters first Christmas so I’m looking forward to celebrating our first Christmas as a family of four (hubby, me, baby and fur-baby).
I’m looking forward to watching Hallmark Christmas movies with my girls, baking and enjoying yummy sweet treats and hot chocolate with them. Thank you for the chance to win!
I look forward to time spent with family and baking with my grandkids.
