We’re always looking for ways to save military families money, and help you make money on things you already do.

I’ve shared over the years my side hustle stories of how I’ve constantly kept money and little perks coming into our household through various rewards programs, surveys, and more.

That’s why I was excited to share with you about two free rewards sites that you can use with the Commissary and the PX.

IBOTTA

You’ve probably already heard of Ibotta which allows you to save and earn on purchases at your favorite stores. I love that the Commissary is actually listed as one of the stores on here, and they give you money back for purchases that are common in most households.

For instance a quick search [at the time of this article’s publication] shows that you can get money back on really popular items. We listed a sample below.

  • $.10 back on brand and size of milk
  • $.25 back on any variety and size of California grapes
  • $.75 back on Mac and Cheese

All you need to do is choose the commissary on the app and then choose the items you want to purchase. When you are done shopping scan your receipt and you will be credited within 24 hours.

Sign up using HERE and you will get $10 when you submit your first receipt.

FETCH REWARDS

Fetch Rewards is actually my favorite money back app. There’s no need to buy specific products because all you do is upload any receipt you have and you will earn a minimum of 25 points.

When we say ANY receipt, we mean it. This includes the commissary, the PX, and any retailer or restaurant located on your military base including the gas station— in addition to retailers anywhere.

You can upload just about anything and instantly be credited points. Oh, and if you’re an Amazon fanatic, Fetch can scan your email for Amazon receipts. I know many of you would probably receive thousands of points on Amazon alone.

Additionally, if you purchase any of the suggested products in the app you can receive extra points. As you can see below I had a car repair receipt that earned me 500 additional points.

Redeeming points for rewards is easy and instant. It also is so easy to obtain a great deal of points so you don’t have to wait long to redeem them for gift cards from your favorite stores like Amazon, Starbucks, Ulta, Bath and Body Works and more.

The last great thing is that Fetch actually helps you track what you spend. I was shocked to see how much I spent in a matter of months on things like eating out and shopping for random items. Essentially you can track your spending and earn money and rewards for doing so.

Fetch is free! Sign up here and earn bonus points.
