As I mentioned in previous posts Blogher12 was eventful. Eventful meaning I had to change outfits quite often. Thanks to my clothing sponsor Kiyonna, I was ready to go with more then my share of pieces that I could transform from day to night wear.

One of the pieces they sent me that I fell in love with was the Kiera Kimono Sleeve Top pictured above.

  • Made in the USA
  • 92% Polyester, 8% Spandex
  • Machine wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors. Lay flat to dry cool iron when needed.
  • Fully ruched front and back through torso.
  • Gathered at shoulders.
  • Surplice neckline at front and back.
  • Draped kimono sleeves with merrow edge.
  • 3/4″ length sleeves measure 15 1/2″.
  • Size 2X measure approximately 39″ around waist, relaxed.
  • 27″ in length from high point of shoulder to hem.

On the opening day of the conference I attended an event at Lord & Taylor in NYC for some of the Lifetime Moms bloggers. It was day time and I knew I wanted to be casual but still have a little flare of cuteness, plus I knew we were going to be getting our makeup done.

I chose to pair the the top with a well known brand pair of jeans I purchased for $10 bucks ( more on that in a future blog post).

I really love the ruched effect for those of us with tummy problem areas like moi! It conceals and if you pose the right way as you will see in the pictures below it makes you look slimmer.

The top comes in 3 of my favorite colors (Ruby Rendezvous which is the color I am wearing ) , Raven Black and Rich Teal which are both on my list of must have’s. I love how all those colors look on me!

That same night I attended one of the official Blogher Parties and because I had been on the go all day I paired the top with a pair of H&M leggings and Gold Sandals. One great thing about this shirt is I was worried the material would be to fitted but the shirt has a good deal of room for movement. In addition for those who may sweat heavily , I didn’t have any issues with sweat circles in the under arm area.

I know as a plus size woman there can be a stigma about wearing leggings as pants especially if the shirt is not hip length or longer. For me personally the cut of the Keira top was the only reason I was able to wear the leggings with a shirt that is not longer then usual. The way it contours and fits the body and camouflages the stomach has a lot to do with way the leggings will look on a women of size. In addition it is super important to buy a quality pair of leggings for the right fit and look!

The shirt retails for $62.00…Yes yes quality cost people.

Remember all Kiyonna’s clothes are made here in the USA and a 20% military discount is available if you purchase their clothing through the AAFES Exchange website.

Disclosure: The above items and several others were provided to me to wear in exchange for an honest and candid review. No other forms of compensation were received.
