I love makeup….gosh I love makeup. I wear it all the time and if you take a look to the right of this article you can clearly see my love for makeup is evident.

Trying adding in a reason to wear it and this chicklet is sold. Naturally I would never make the connection of the military and makeup but somehow Almay did announcing there new philanthropic partnership with the USO to honor women military in support of the brand’s new campaign, Simply American, featuring Carrie Underwood. If you’ve ever used a USO waiting room in the airport then you know how important all efforts to support them are. I’ve had the pleasure of utilizing their service more than once and they made what could have been miserable airport delays a true pleasure.

Rocking this subtle new lip balm gloss from @Almay called #bloomin!!!

Of course the spirit of the military coincides with the simplicity of the Simply American theme. “American ingenuity has always been at the heart of Almay and the brand is proud of its American heritage,” said Revlon President and Chief Executive Officer Lorenzo Delpani. “In joining forces with the USO, we are excited to shine a light on the face of American beauty by celebrating women of the U.S. military as well as encouraging consumers to support them.”

To join in celebrating this awesome partnership simply share a pic on FB, Twitter or IG showing your moments that depict the beauty of America and that are just simple moments and be sure to hashtag them using #SimplyAmerican. “In addition to the brand’s $250,000 contribution to the USO, Almay will donate one dollar, up to $10,000, for every “like” or share on social media”. You can ask donate at http://www.USO.org and visit Almay’s interactive hub at http://www.Almay.com .
