Yesterday the weather was cold, damp and rainy and I was longing for a hearty easy stick to your bones kind of casserole. I wanted something that I didn’t have to go to the store for and that I could use what items I had in my pantry. The “Turkey Sausage” casserole I made is not really anything new but how you make it and the spin you put on it is what really makes it good .

Ingredients

Remember I eyeball everything so do so according to your preferences and family size

1 pack of any type of sausage cutup or cubed
4 Russet Potatoes cubed
2 cups milk (eyeball)
Seasoning: Garlic powder, salt , pepper, parsley flakes
Minced or crushed garlic clove
1 whole onion chopped
1 bag of cheese (whatever kind you like)
Crispy onion topping
