Yesterday the weather was cold, damp and rainy and I was longing for a hearty easy stick to your bones kind of casserole. I wanted something that I didn’t have to go to the store for and that I could use what items I had in my pantry. The “Turkey Sausage” casserole I made is not really anything new but how you make it and the spin you put on it is what really makes it good .
Ingredients
Remember I eyeball everything so do so according to your preferences and family size
1 pack of any type of sausage cutup or cubed
4 Russet Potatoes cubed
2 cups milk (eyeball)
Seasoning: Garlic powder, salt , pepper, parsley flakes
Minced or crushed garlic clove
1 whole onion chopped

Crispy onion topping

Looks delish! I cant wait to try it. one thing? I missed the time on it…how long does it go in the oven? and how far along to we put the crispy onion on? Thanks!!!
My apologies as for the length of time it depends but mine was in the oven for 1hr 30 minutes and the onion topping and extra cheese can go on the last 15 minutes.
This looks delicious! I am definitely making it tomorrow, thanks for sharing!
