Some of you may have followed along as I reviewed a Toyota Prius Hybrid for Toyota as part of the Toyota Women Influencer’s Network aka TWIN.

I drive SUV’s and as much as I have been wanting a car , the thing I was nervous about was trunk space. For the longest time I have been used to never needing to rent a truck or anything because we always had a huge SUV to haul any major items.

It almost freaks me out how weird this would be since it’s not like we are carrying heavy duty equipment on a daily basis but because we had to carry a bed in our truck one time, I have been a freak about space in my trunk ever since.

As for the Prius I was able to pack several grocery bags in it without crushing everything. With the seat down I could see someone being able to haul a few small boxes and not covering the back windows.

This was a picture I took while picking up some groceries. I have quite a few bags and as you can see I still had a decent amount of space left.

I am not quite sure if the Prius passed my trunk space standards but all in all if I was to get a car it would definitely suffice.

Disclosure: I was selected for participation in the TWIN community through a program with Clever Girls Collective. Toyota sent me this car to check it for an honest review.I did not receive any compensation for writing this post, or payment in exchange for participating. The opinions expressed herein are mine, and do not reflect the views of the Toyota.

  1. This is a compact vehicle. Most would not consider buying a compact with sliding doors and 3 row seating. This is like a prius. Pruis does not offer 3 rows or sliding doors. This looks like a great car, as long as the mpg’s are there.
