It’s finally Spring (although lately it doesn’t feel like it) and it’s the time of year where we start sifting through all of the household junk that has accumulated and decide if we will throw it away or hoard it away like we did last year.
There may be one more thing you should add to your Spring cleaning and that is Child Safety.
It is imperative for parents and caregivers to check their home for any lurking household dangers. The Window Covering Safety Council (WCSC) is reminding families to check their window coverings for exposed or dangling cords that can pose a strangulation hazard to infants and young children.Spring cleaning presents parents and caregivers with as good time as any to install new window coverings and to retrofit or replace old ones with today’s safer products. Installing only cordless window coverings in a home with young children is the best way to prevent any accidents from occurring.
Tomorrow night join me @ArmyWives101 @CordSafety and Co-host@ADLupher as we Spring Into Safety and discuss ways to safe proof your window coverings. It will be lots of fun and we are giving away VISA GIFTCARDS!!!
If you plan on being there we’d love for you to RETWEET the following:
