This November 11th many businesses and retailers will honor those who served our country with various deals and discounts nationwide. Here’s this year’s list broken down by category. Discounts have been verified via corporate unless marked with a *. I will continue to update this list throughout the day with national deals only.

Restaurants

Denny’s: Invites active, inactive and retired military personnel to stop by participating locations for a free Build Your Own Grand Slam® on Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 5 a.m. to noon. At participating Denny’s restaurants nationwide, diners with a valid military ID can order and enjoy a free Build Your Own Grand Slam®, which includes four of Denny’s beloved breakfast items such as fluffy buttermilk pancakes, eggs cooked to order, bacon strips, sausage links and hash browns or toast.

Applebee’s: On Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, veterans and active duty military can choose a dish from the FREE Thank You Meal menu that includes some of Applebee’s signature and favorite items, including: 7 oz. House Sirloin, American Standard All-In Burger, Double Crunch Shrimp, Three-Cheese Chicken Penne, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Chicken Tenders Platter,Oriental Chicken Salad. Guests will need to provide proof of service, which includes: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, photograph in uniform or wearing uniform, DD214, Citation or Commendation. Thank You meals will be offered during normal business hours.

Shoney’s– Is saying thank you by giving Vets their “All American Burger” FREE this November 11th at participating restaurants. There is a limit of one per day per military service member and the offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offers. Shoney’s military guests will need to provide proof of military service. Offer is valid for Dine-in only and beverage, tax and gratuity are not included.

On The Border: Is saying “Thank You” in more than 150 ways this Veterans Day, as all veterans and active duty military will receive, for FREE, OTB’s “Create Your Own Combo menu,” the restaurant’s best-seller featuring more than 150 possible meal combinations, on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Veterans and active duty military will receive a Choose 2 or Choose 3 selection from OTB’s “Create Your Own Combo menu. The On The Border offer is valid at participating restaurants for dine-in only, limit one Create Your Own Combo dinner per veteran or active duty military. Beverages, desserts and gratuity are not included. For more information, guests are encouraged to call their local On The Border restaurant. Golden Corral: Offering a free meal on November 17th, 2014 (Not on Veteran’s Day) . Open to anyone who has ever served in the military and no ID is required. Details here.

California Pizza Kitchen– On November 11th military personnel can enjoy a free entree from their special Vet’s Day Menu.

Bakers Square: is offering an exclusive FREE breakfast menu for Veteran’s or those currently serving in the military. With Military ID diners can choose from three Buttermilk Pancakes, three slices of French Toast or a Belgian Waffle.

TGI Friday’s: will again honor veterans and active duty military personnel across the United States with free lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Veterans Day, November 11, 2014.

Outback Steakhouse: Is offering a free Bloomin Onion to military and Veteran’s on Veteran’s Day. Join their Military Mates program and get 15% off meal purchases until December 31, 2014. Visit http://www.outback.com/troops .

Starbucks:  Participating locations will offer 12oz coffees to military personnel and their spouses.

Texas Roadhouse: All veterans – including all active, retired or former U.S. military –  can choose one of 10 entrees, including a 6-ounce sirloin and two made-from-scratch sides plus a choice of any Coca-Cola product, sweet tea/ice tea or coffee during lunch (11am-2pm). Proof of service includes military or VA card, or discharge papers.

Olive Garden: Veteran’s and AD members receive a free meal and family members receive 10% off.

Friendly’s: Veteran’s and active duty military  on Veteran’s Day stop at any location and receive a free breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Carrabba’s: November 11th all active and retired veteran’s receive a free appetizer at participating locations.

Chilli’s: Honoring Veteran’s and active duty military with a free meal from a special Veteran’s Day menu. “ Must show proof of service.”

IHOP: Participating IHOP restaurants around the nation will be honoring all Veteran’s of the U.S. Military by offering them free Red, White, and Blue Pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. At some location the pancakes will be featured as part of a free combo plate including eggs, bacon, and hash browns.

Lone Star Steakhouse: Active duty and reserves receive a free entrée on Veteran’s Day.

O’Charley’s: Active military personnel and veteran’s can choose one of nine meals from the O’Charley’s “$9.99er” menu for free.

PDQ: Choice of free tenders or sandwich for veteran’s and active duty military with ID or in uniform. Only valid on Veteran’s Day.

Krystal’s : Krystal’s is serving up a free hearty breakfast to all servicemen and women on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. From 6 AM to 10:30 AM, all active and retired military can receive a free Sausage Biscuit with a valid military ID, honorable discharge card or by wearing their uniform. The offer is good for both dine-in and drive thru guests at participating restaurants, while supplies last.

Kangaroo Express: is offering a special deal to anyone with military I.D. on Veterans Day next week – any grill item for just 25-cents

Red Robin: Invites all active military and veteran’s to come out and receive their free Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries on Veterans Day.

Ryan’s: Active duty, reservists, and retired military on Veterans Day enjoy a free lunch at participating locations from opening to 3:30 pm.

Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill: Giving a free meal to veterans and active duty. Must show proof of service.

Starbucks: On this Veteran’s Day veteran’s, active duty military, and their spouses with their ID cards can enjoy a free 12oz brewed coffee at participating stores.

Boston Market: Active duty military show your military ID at participating stores and receive a free whole chicken with the purchase of a family meal on Veteran’s Day.

Krispy Kreme: Is giving out a free coffee and a free donut to any Veteran.

CraftWorks Restaurants: Gordon Biersch Brewery, Rock Bottom, Old Chicago Pizza and ChopHouse & Brewery are giving a free craft beer to Veterans.

Spaghetti Warehouse: Military personnel can use this coupon to receive a BOGO deal.

 

Retailers

Great Clips- the world’s largest hair salon brand, is offering veterans a free hair cut from November 11 through Dec. 31 2014.  Customers who come in for a service on Veterans Day get a free haircut card to give to veterans, redeemable through Dec. 31, 2014.

JC Penny: Active and former military personnel and their family members can enjoy a discount of 20% off on in-store purchases (some exclusions may apply) from Nov 3rd through 11th. Must show ID or proof of service.

Dollar General: On 11/11/2014 Dollar General is offering 11% off of in-store purchases for veteran’s and active duty.

Food Lion: Food Lion will offer a 10% discount to all who have serve and are currently serving.

Publix: Active and retired military personnel and family members get a 10 percent discount on Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11, 2014.  Proof of service required.

Sports Clips: Sport Clips locations will offer free haircuts to active-duty and retired U.S. service members on Veterans Day,Tuesday, November 11, 2014, with valid proof of service.

Sleep Number: Enjoy savings for Veterans of $400-$700 online through November 16th.

Amazon: Receive 20% off a wide selection of clothing for the entire family using code 20OFFVET 

Bed Bath & Beyond: Today Vet’s , military personnel and their dependents receive 20% off in store purchases.

Chuck E. Cheese: Military personnel and vets receive 20 free coins through November 15th.

Staples: AD, Reserve, and Veterans receive 10% off purchases from now until November 15th.

Harris Teeter: Veteran’s receive 11% off purchases today.
