I am truly tired of seeing military spouses doing the same thing over again. It’s so cliche, to see these spouses, selling Avon,Mary Kay, scensty and etc. its like they have no brain to be more creative than that. Why would you want to sell someone else products for them? Your not making that much money. These companies just use broke people and sell them dreams.
I kind of agree. A lot of these products you can make yourself and the big companies don’t get richer off it!

I wouldn’t go as far to say the spouses have no brain lol, but I truly believe many spouse are just not informed of what is truly available out there. With just a bit more research they would be amazed to know the work at home jobs that exist out there.
I guess I’m on both sides of the coin. I’ve sold Avon, Mary Kay, and been a Mystery Shopper in the past. But I also stay employed full time as a police officer. For the last year I have also had my own at home business in which I am a Sisterlocks loctician. Plus I still attend school part time. so I say find out what you are good at and find a creative way to “exploit” it. lol

I have a few questions. What do u think are important advantages and disadvantages to having a business as a military spouse? For getting a business license, since we move around a lot, are there temporary ones or ones that can be used in any U.S. state? Are there any on-post groups/meetings for military spouse business-owners? Or websites/resources that can help specifically for military spouses and the different challenges we may face? I would appreciate any replies from anyone who can help me. Thanks!
