As you all know I am a Sears Outlet Mom and just about monthly I am given a chance to review an item or two. This month I had the chance to review the Farberware Electric Skillet and a Hamilton Beach Liquida Blu Blender (that review will follow this one shortly).
Product Features
- Non-Stick cooking surface: 12 x 12 inches
- Contemporary design with quality die-cast construction
- Heat resistant dome glass lid
- Steam vent in lid
- Removable probe with adjustable temperature control
I definitely am digging that this thing is 12 inches. One of my biggest problems has been finding a quality skillet that was big enough to cook a meal for a family of four. Unfortunately finding one of a decent size would require me shelling out some dollars. In your case you won’t have to because this neat and useful gadget retails for close to $60 bucks but at Sears Outlet is going for $29.99.
This skillet also heats up really really quickly and fries and sautees fast as well.
All in I am satisfied with the ease and quality of this skillet.
The one con is cleaning it, while it does state that the skillet is completely immersible in water ( as long as plug is disconnected) I am not fond of submersing it knowing that the electrical area where the prong goes will be in contact with water. In any event I just angled the prong area from the sink then washed and rinsed.
Seeing is believing so I did a little review video enjoy!
Lastly don’t fret if you dont have a Sears Outlet nearby, word is that starting December online shopping will open to everyone.

I would think that there are TONS of neat ways to use that skillet. Great pick. Can’t wait for the outlets to open up online shopping!

So i always see these and i never want to buy one for the same reason. I never know if its worth the money. I am glad to see one in action! (And my belly is growling ty!)
I love that it is big enough to feed a family of 4 :)
This is a great idea for my mom! She unhooked her stove years ago and only uses a microwave. We are always after her to use alternate cooking methods and this would be simple and easy for her to use. Great review!
We have been looking to buy a skillet, then today I see your review! Thanks!
