When hubby was deployed I loved finding new treats and items to include outside of his normal requests. I know that many military spouses are on the lookout too, and so the AW101 team is excited to share treats and product recommendations from some of our favorite brands. When I was in high school, we had to sell boxes of different candies for our senior class trip and I chose to sell Snickers bars. The bars were $1 a piece and needless to say I pretty much ate the entire box over a month long period. My mom wound up having to give me the money to pay for the ones I ate.

So as you can see I love Snickers. While I am not a huge fan of change I was excited to try the new Snickers Crispers which includes your normal peanuts, chocolate and caramel, but gives you another layer of crunch and flavor by adding in a crispy rice crunch.

My daughter and I were excited to try it out first and we both loved it. It still had your normal snickers taste, but the taste was definitely elevated with the new addition. Because I love anything with some extra crunch this spoke to my soul. Then when you add on the peanuts on top of that it’s a crunch fan’s heaven.IMG_6613.PNG

Putting Them In A Care Package

While its still cool enough for mailing these would be great to insert in care packages. My spouse loved to receive items that he could share with the other guys, which makes these perfect because they come in full size and fun sizes in a bag. The gals and guys will love popping a little burst of these in their mouths when wanting a fun sweet snack. The single bar comes with 2 pieces so it’s also good if you want one now and one later. No longer are you forced (not that we mind) to eat a bar in a single serving.
