When it comes to body wash and deodorants, I like to smell good without feeling like I have to sacrifice smelling manly! Now let me be the first to admit that when I shop for personal hygiene products Old Spice is not usually on my radar. However, I must say that has changed. Old Spice was nice enough to allow me to try their New “Hardest Working Collection”, to try out.
Having served in the U.S. Armed Forces with two tours in support of Iraqi Freedom under my belt, I know how important it is to stay clean and feeling fresh while working hard.
Let me tell you our guys in uniform work very hard. I don’t mean to leave the ladies out because they work hard too, but this product is for the guys.
So, working all day coming home to the infamous “Honey Do This List” which had me cutting the grass three days before my normal yard maintenance day, I must say that the Old Spice Sweat Defense held up. I sweat pretty bad when I cut the grass and my old brand normally doesn’t last through the whole process. I was really impressed that not only did I feel dryer, I also still smelled pretty darn good! Putting on their deodorant was actually like having cologne on. The smell is strong but not in a “ugh” way. It actually will have people saying “what is that your wearing because you smell good”!
Even though, I was straight in that department I was still sweaty in other areas and quite dirty from pulling weeds up. That’s where the Old Spice Dirt Destroyer body wash came in. This stuff lathered up really good and the dirt just melted away. The smell was what really got my attention. It had that yes I am a man but come here darling lets cuddle smell. Definitely great to wear for a date night. It definitely got the wife’s approval.
