Thanks to Angela of Mommy PR for sharing this new phone app she came across that will bring some convenience to those of you stationed in the states of Virginia and Texas at select commissaries.
If you shop at the Commissary then you should know that the deli counter can be one of the most annoying areas of the store to go to especially during lunch time. Military personnel tend to order sandwiches and other food items from here for lunch verses leaving post which can make it really hectic.
Luckily for those in the above states mentioned a solution called convenience has come your way with the new Deli Online app. Commissary patrons at select commissaries in Virginia and Texas can now place orders for sandwiches and meat trays right from home.
A Convenient – Fast – Easy way to place your deli, sandwich, or party tray order online! Now you can place your deli order from home or from the office and it will be ready when you arrive at the store. Kiosk pick up locations are clearly marked at each location. Select your location below to get started.
Iphone users can find the app in the Apple store by searching “military deli“. It doesn’t look like this app is readily available yet for Android users.
The commissary is doing great things by introducing online ordering and curb side pickup and now this. My only recommendation is to hurry and make the apps available. I guess the impatient patron in me wants them to just roll everything out at one time.
Currently this service is available at: Langley AFB, Little Creek NAS, Norfolk NB, Lackland AFB, and Fort Sam Houston.
