The Queen and I again!
Our yummy pastry filled breakfast at the Mandarin
While we feasted on good food and coffee we also enjoyed this beautiful view of Central Park and Columbus Circle

Monday morning I (on behalf of MommyPR) along with several other bloggers headed over to the luxurious Mandarin Oriental in NYC to interview Queen Latifah for her role as spokeswoman and host of the Zyrtec Parks Unleashed Game. It was one of the most amazing and fun experiences of my life. I have always gotten the vibe that Queen Latifah was just the most down to earth person and she certainly lived up to my expectations.

I had a ball chatting with her…Check out our interview below:

  1. WOW Girl! WTG! Queen Latifah does seem so laid back. She has always been good at what she did and made it so fun to watch her movies and made music enjoyable to listen to. Hats off to you for being able to connect with her. It may not matter to you, but I’m proud of you and what you do for ALL OF US! THANK YOU!

    • Cheryl thanks so much for taking time to watch and believe me it matters to me any support that I am given. I love what I do and even when I am not talking about military life, I love being able to live my dreams and share with other spouses that they too can live their dreams a well :)

  2. Hail to the Queen!!! She’s from my hometown and one of New Jersey’s finest! I’m seeing this video for the first time and I really enjoyed the interview , Krystel. I have always loved Queen Latifah, she is a real down to earth person and not one of those hollywood images. So proud of you! Thanks for sharing and keep up the awesome work.

    • Hey Philecia glad to share and yes I appreciate (especially in this day and age) a person who doesn’t let the fame get to them. It made it even better to interview her for that reason. Thanks so much for watching and stopping by!

  3. Wow!!! This was a great interview!!!! You were soooo “composed and professional”—-I would have been like my 2 year old—bouncing off the roof!!!!! REALLY!!!!! She was soo down to earth and u seemed so comfortable!!! Great job!!!!! Waiting for your next interview girl!!! :)

  4. Thats so awesome!! I love Queen Latifah. There is no way I would have had as together as you lol I would have too excited to sit still. LOL You did awsome. She seems so laid back and down to earth , just ” normal ” compared to watching other celebs she dosen’t act like she is the most important person in the room thats great!! Congrats :)

  6. Jahvid Best showcased the potential that made him one
of Detroit’s two first-round picks in April, catching nine passes for 154 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings, who led the all-time series 12-8. As the summer goes on, we will run through every louis vuitton outlet team’s 2013 schedule
and predict how each team’s record will look at the conclusion of the season. Moments before the New York Giants had superstars on offense and defense resulting in sloppy, erratic play?
