I found this today and wish I had thought of this when my hubby was deployed. For those of you with deployed spouses why not send him lots of hugs through this creative way below.

Last deployment (08/09) we took a fleece scarf sewed it into a tube and stuffed it with pillow stuffing, sewed two stretch gloved to them end that also were stuffed and put velcro dots on the gloves so they would stick together. that was our hug we sent. And my husband brought it home and the kids play with it now. And now that he is deployed again the kids wear the “hug” when they miss daddy
