We are expired card carrying members of Sam’s Club , so this offer is a awesome one in which I am sure my husband will be utilizing humbly and gratefully.

In honor of Veteran’s Day Sam’s Club has announced a new membership option available to the military. Service members will now receive a $15 Giftcard when joining or renewing as an  Advantage Member which is $40 per year or a Advantage Plus Member ($100 per year).  Offer valid for active and retired military and civilian military employees and their spouses. Must present a valid ID card at the membership desk. Only one primary membership per household.

Although this offer is being announced in time for the Veteran’s Day holiday , it appears that this offer is a permanent part of the Sam’s Club Memberships and will be available from now on .

  1. Megan, So did we but we got a gift card with ours….. maybe the will still give it to you if go back in because they should have asked if you were military to begin with! :)

  2. Meghan, Sam’s Club can and will refund make good on their offer just go back with your ID and talk to a manager. When I worked there several years ago a member could talk to a manager and tell them that the membership was not working for them and get a full refund.

  3. Yea.. to answer mine.. NO they won’t… because my grandpa pays for our membership (we’re the complimentary household, he’s the main member).. they will NOT honor my ID… which I think is crap..

So basically to get the $15 GC… I’d have to open the “special” military membership… same benefits, just a different card for $40 and then my grandpa would get stuck with his $40 membership.. TOTALLY not worth paying $80 for that incentive. Not to mention the representative was totally rude and accused me of “cheating the system” just to get a free $15 GC… :-o
