I’ve received close to 15 emails over the last two weeks asking me about PCS moves and what exactly happens after AIT. Many spouses are confused on how to schedule a move, when orders are received and much more. I am working on a revised part two about PCS’ing , but since these questions are at the top of my list I thought it would be a good time to post this tutorial.

If any experienced spouses have more information to add, please feel free to do so in the comments portion below.

8 Comments on The PCS Process :Part 1 After AIT

  1. Thank you so much for the information! My husband will be starting AIT in about 2 weeks and since this is all so new to me this really helped. Looking forward to part 2!

  2. You are a goddess! I can’t thank you enough for all the help around here :D My man is still in AIT, nice to know it’s not just us that’s being left completely in the dark while half his class already knows where they’re going (nope, not impatient at all over here, not me….:P)

  3. This is the perfect web site for anybody who wants to find
out about this topic. You know so much its almost tough to argue with you (not that I really will
need to…HaHa). You certainly put a brand new spin on a topic that’s been discussed for decades. Excellent stuff, just great!

  4. I’m amazed, I have to admit. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both equally educative and interesting,
and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the
head. The issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about.
I am very happy I came across this in my search for something concerning this.
