This is a sponsored post. I am a Kmart blogger, though all opinions are my own.

Here in North Carolina the back to school hustle was in full effect as of yesterday. This past weekend the stores were packed with parents on the hunt for last minute supplies. I was one of those parents, except I did the majority of my shopping ahead of schedule. Still, I found myself among-st the crowds looking for last minute doo-dads and items for the kiddos.

As the bus drove away yesterday it finally hit me that I have a forth grader and a daughter in high school.  It’s not like they don’t start school in a new grade every year, but you really realize how much older your children are getting when they are a grade or two away from middle school and three grades away from college. I have watched the time fly and I can only imagine how it will be when we are no longer buying a few notebooks and binders for high school , but rather prepping for a dorm room at college.

Although I am not there yet I know quite a few of you who read Army Wife 101 are moms of college students. The store who made the phrase “blue light special” Kmart has you completely covered for all of your son or daughter’s dorm room needs.

Heading back to campus means a life filled with American History 101, Math Fundamentals and lots of dorm room study sessions. Before heading back to campus though, one must ace Savings 101 & Dorm Style Basics (thankfully no textbooks required). Shopping at Kmart is a sure way to get an A+ on your college pre-requisites. Kmart has  savings on dorm style, studying supplies, small appliances, the latest gadgets & even a shower caddies and flip flops (a dorm life must)! Plus, if you’re looking for a little shopping extra credit, you’ll get it as a ShopYourWay Member when you earn points on your back to campus purchases. What are you waiting for? Start shopping smart!

For all my military folks remember those gift cards from a certain registry this year can be used at Kmart. This is a great way to send your college kid any extra necessities they might need.
