I met my husband online eleven years ago long before the days of Facebook and Twitter. In fact Myspace was probably still in beta and Blackplanet.com was where it was happening at. However we met on Love@AOL before it became Match.com and when it was free. We talked everyday for three hours on the phone and it was eight months before I actually came here to Fayetteville , North Carolina to meet him in person. When I look back at how silly and stupid I was back then , I call myself a damn fool.

Here I was meeting this man whom I had barely seen on camera because there was no Skype , Tango’s or Oovoo’s back then. We had a grainy version of Netmeeting that was as good as not seeing the person at all. I booked a ticket via Amtrak and came down here to Fort Bragg, North Carolina on a whim , really thinking that this guy I am talking to is going to exist and sweep me off my feet and hopefully won’t hide me in the woods in a dufflebag. Fortunately, for me I was lucky he (my husband) was exactly he said he was and did all of the above…well except for the hiding me in the woods part!

Unfortunately , for many it doesn’t turn out that way. I am astounded at the number of emails I have still been getting from women who are are engaged or dating so called military personnel whom they have never seen and have only talked to online. The dating online part isn’t even really the shocking part for me. What is shocking- is these fake military personnel who are leading naive ladies into believing they have found their soulmates, and getting rich off of them too.

The scheme these fakers are running is a pretty easy one because most women are sensitive and loving creatures who want to fall in love. We are easy prey, and when you have a man saying everything you want to hear it’s easy to get lost in emotion. The fake soldier comes across real by using fallen troops pictures and names. They believe that the payoff will be so great in the end, that they take time to get to know you and ask questions about your life as to create the illusion that they really care. They don’t care! They are trying to build your trust.

That scheme has also taken on the term Catfished, thanks to the popularity of the MTV Show “Catfish” based on people who are seeking to find out if the people they have become romantically involved with online; are really who they say they are.

After woo-ing the woman who he has most likely met via a social network or dating site, he then begins his pity story which usually revolves around one of these few scenarios:

*I am deployed with no family and I have a hard time getting what I need over here

* I am trying to come home on leave and I don’t have the money to do so

* I went AWOL and need money to get out of this situation

* I need you to apply for leave on my behalf (which require a fee)  because I really want to come and see you

If this has happened to you then you are officially being not only catfished but conned, duped, and scammed. This is nothing but another version of the Nigerian Money Scams.

5 Ways To Tell If You Are Being Catfished Military Style

1. If the fake soldier starts giving you the story about how he needs things he can’t get “over there” but wants you to send money instead of a care package that is room for suspicion.Military members get paid and have access to the majority of what they need even in combat zones.

2. If the fake soldier says he needs you to sign papers for him to come on leave and send a fee that is an automatic red flag. Military spouses and significant others do not need to sign or pay for anything in relation to military coming home from overseas. Additionally leave from a combat zone is called R&R and is now only applicable if the service member is going to be overseas a year or more so be sure to ask him during your conversations how long he has been there. You can view fake examples of forms by clicking here: http://guardianofvalor.com/con-artists-using-fake-military-documents-to-swindle-money-using-soldiers-identities/ to see if they match up. Even if they say they are not in a combat zone but stationed overseas, they will never need you to sign off for them to go on leave.

3. If this so called soldier says he needs money to get out of being AWOL ( A term used in the United States Military to describe a soldier or other military member who has left his or her post without permission (usually in disagreement with a particular order”via Urban Dictionary”.) he is lying. No money you pay will get him out of this punishable act.

4. Ask scammers what they do in the military and their MOS which is a number followed by a letter.Sure they can google but if you happen to be on the phone and it’s taking them awhile to answer you that’s a red flag. Google Military MOS to help you verify.

5. Lastly remember Google is your best friend. Scammers like to use pictures of fallen soldiers so use the tool that the Catfish cast uses to search images with just one click. Click here for Google Image Search. You can also use some of the websites and Facebook pages that try to expose fake soldiers such as Stolen Valor and their official website Guardians of Valor .

Don’t be a sucker for online love so quickly. Do you research and don’t get Catfished!

303 Comments on You’ve Been Catfished: Military Style…How To Find Out If The Soldier You Met Online Is Really A Soldier

  1. You simply have to make sure it is fitted properly into your mouth.

If you snore, natural cures for snoring should include an exercise program that keeps the muscles in your
throat in top condition. Though the reason for its effectiveness is unclear, many
proclaim the benefits of honey for reducing
    snoring.

  2. Excellent items from you, man. I’ve consider your stuff previous to and you are simply extremely great.
I really like what you have acquired here, really like what you’re stating and the best
way by which you are saying it. You are making it entertaining and you continue to take care of to stay it wise.
I cant wait to learn far more from you. This is really a
    terrific website.

Here is my website; search volume

  3. Aw, this was an incredibly good post. Taking the time and actual effort to make a really good
    article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a whole lot and
don’t seem to get nearly anything done.

  4. Hey! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve
had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives
for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me
in the direction of a good platform.

  5. Hello, i believe that i saw you visited my blog thus i came to go back the favor?.I
am attempting to to find issues to enhance my website!I guess its good
enough to use a few of your concepts!!

  6. I have been communicating for nearly 5 months with someone who said he is US Army stationed in Afghanistan. Honestly, I have great admiration on him and I love him. A part from the 15 pictures of him and some with his 8 year old son, that he has sent to me, we have also done some video calls on Skype as I needed to see that I dealt with the same person as pictures, and fortunately yes he is the same man. Though the video calls were always for a few seconds only due to restriction.
What making me doubt is that he has been asking me to send money to his son’s nanny for his son’s school and send money to his lawyer for early retirement form and processing, for this he sent me scan receipt that looks like original from US Department of Defense but I am not sure. And I have spent lots of $ on him but he still keep asking me to send nearly every 2-3 weeks
Please help me and what do I need to send to help you checking or verifying these out.

  7. I just recently started talking to a soldier, he seems great so far. but I am disabled so he’s barking up the wrong tree if he thinks he can get any money from me! Anyway I won’t send him any I’m not stupid!!
I’m so sorry for the women that got hooked. We (women) have this vision of our dream man; and when these men say all the right things our heart melts! I was injured in a domestic violence relationship 14 yrs. ago. So I don’t need or want any kind of drama like this!! I’ve had way too much and I’m done with it.
But why I looked you up is in one week I was contacted by 3 men who say they are in the Military. 2 are on facebook, and one of them I have fallen for so I checked him on Facebook. Yes he was there!

  8. I am so happy I stumbled across your site. The information on here is great. The final nails in this guys coffin were the secret mission, and the fact that there are no friends on his face book profile. The funny thing is that hes trying to tell me I am the one playing games and when I mentioned I had gotten burnt on Facebook, he assured me Oh I AM Not on of those guys. Oh well it was fun while it lasted.

  9. O recently started talking to a guy who claims he is in the army in iraq and that his wife died and he wants to be with me and just everything i want to hear . Has anyone heard of mark donaldson?

    • Honey no one here will tell you they heard of him because the military doesn’t work like that. If he is asking for money and telling you his wife died or that he is in Nigeria or Syria he is a scammer. If he won’t get on webcam and keeps making excuses he is a scammer. I receive emails everyday with this same story!

  10. I have been talking to this military man for nearly two years. He asked for money in order to process his leave from Nigeria. He even had supposadly friends and family sending me money to me in order to send to him in Nigeria and now he says im in trouble for not completing things. He has all the signs of being a scammer. The email address doesnt end in either @mail.mil or @us.army.mil instead it ends in @armymail.com. please help confirm that this is in fact a scammer. He too asked me to send him money in order to pay his bills along with request for his leave on his behalf to come home. Please help ASAP im a single mother of three!

      • Now I’m worried my person in Kabul Af. Sounds similar to yours. He never asks for anything just compliments me and wants to chat. His name James Anderson Blanks. He also says he can’t speak on the phone because of restrictions. How can I found out if he is a scammer?

    • There is no way for me to check that. If he is asking you for money and saying he is in Africa and he needs money to get home chances are he isn’t real.

  11. He said he needs money for food cause he list he’s card an it cost 800 to get it back an he needs 390 for he’s leave an the money for a plane ticket

  12. I have been talking to as guy I met online for about two months. He says he is a staff sargent in the US Army and is in Afghanastan. He told me his wife died five years ago and he has two sons. They are living in Madrid with his mother. He does have some type of an accent but the messages but I cant tell what it is. We did a video Skype and he is the guy in the pictures that he sent and that were on his profile. I could not hear him because I did not have my Skype set up and my volume was down. He did ask me once to help him with a bill and I refused however he continues to talk and Skype text but says he cant video cam much they are not allowed. I do not hear from him everyday. He says he is retiring in September and has never asked me to sign papers for him to get out early or pay for anything. He says when he comes back in September we can get know each other better. He said he deleted the dating site and he did I checked. He also has offered to delete facebook but there is no point he doesn’t use it. I am just somehow curious. I ask him all kinds of questions and he answers them right away. Like I will periodically ask him what time it is there and he gives me the correct time and I know because I have a clock up in front of me with the correct time. He even asked me about my birthday next month and remembered the month and the day we had that conversation back two months ago. I was surprised he still remembered. I don’t know if I should just ride it out until September and see what happens or just give up and forget it. I just have a huge guard up and don’t trust easy.

    • Hi Yvonne,

It’s possible that it might not be a scam. However one of the common things these guys usually come up with is that their spouse passed away and they have kids living with a parent in a foreign country. Maybe die it out but the minute he starts with the money requests I’d say bye quickly.

  13. I think I be catfish by this guy who says he’s in the army but I ain’t sure is their anyone out that can help to prove if he’s in the army or not he said he needs 390 for he’s leave I already sent him money once please help me I live off ssi I only get 727 s month I really care bout this guy u have fallen in love wit him please help me

  14. Hello I have Beenough talking with these guy on Facebook I have ask him to cam he said he can’t cause it is restricted. Also is a ski get me for money for him to have Internet .I thought that all us soldiers had access to the net .and was able to get on cam .the name he is using is hurmat Rizwan he has even taken my photo to put on his page.I need to know if he is a scammer or is he really a us soldier

  15. All you women are stupid and weak If you give thesese sccammers, if you want to give money away go pay off your debts. I have no symphathy for you and go feed thepoor. Dating online, come on. There ought to be laws against soliciting and prostitution. The go after the fraud offender. It will deter both sides. Also, not to burst your bubble, no millitary personel will want to do with you all what a bunch of losers. If this comment doesnt wake you up, maybe the FBI and CIA should take my advise to do something to deter people like you. Fyi there are some laws that are in place that half of what you are doing is againrt the law!

  16. I’ve been talking to this guy. He says he’s in the army. Se sent me a picture with the date my name and his on it. He has his on a mission with the missing girls in Nigeria. His name is Darren Barrows. He says he’s in the army. How can I verify he is who he says he is.

  17. I’m hoping it’s not fake but I met this guy named Johnson Michael on an app called meetme, we’re now talking over Facebook messenger for about three months now. He only has about eight friends and they’re all females I asked him about that and (he told me in the past he doesn’t really use his Facebook etc) and he said that he doesn’t talk to them anymore they were just after his money and wanted him to pay for pics etc. Which a lot of girls in fact do on meetme from what I hear, anyways he said he wants to find someone who he can in time settle down, marry, and have his kids with. Says he is from Portland Oregon but his mother was from Virginia and that’s where he wants to raise his children. He’s never mentioned anything about money before now and it’s about sending me money because of a financial situation I am currently going through. He says he is currently deployed in Afghanistan for peace keeping and will be returning in February and wants to meet me. He says he talked with his commander and can make it where his allowance is sent to my bank card instead. I’m nervous if I give my information out he could use that to take money out or overdraft my account making me owe. He wants me to have enough money to cover my rent and light bill and buy some things for Christmas and send him a package of needs with this money. I tried using the site tiny eye but no results were found. I offered to maybe get a pre paid debit card through somewhere like Walmart just in case but I’m still wary. Any ideas on help anyone!? Please and thank you!

  18. Hi i have recently met a soldier everyone keeps telling me he is a scammer Anderson j green he offered to send me money but i did not accept he is in africa i really just need help alot of things dont make sense plz help he’s in fb

My first clue he would have enough women that he can met. 2. he did not get it when I said I worked for the DOD. 3 His broken English when he texted. He has all the pics from the Facebook. No one has to tell me he is tryingg to scam

  20. I’ve been scammed by a “US Sargent”… We’ve been chatting for 6 months now, and it all sounded so real… Or may be I’m just too naive… He had asked me for about 2000 usd to come back home sooner (he was deployed in Iraq) cause his baby girl was too sick… And I let him to convince me…. I didn’t have the money so I asked a loan which we were both supposed to pay… I even talked to his commander and three of his friends… I feel so heartbroken and ashamed…I didn’t see the signals…… I’m so new in this virtual dates, and now I feel terribly…

    • When I discovered my neighbor was being scammed, I called the local army recruiter and he talked to her, He told her the truth about military leave. Maybe a recruiter would be able to give you information as to who in the Army you could talk to. I assume that is what you meant by “How can I get a military man?” Good luck!

“Good morning my angel, happy new month baby,u love you so much hun, wishing you a great morning,a blessed week and a glorious month, cant wait to have you in my life soon for the rest of my being, with all my love, paul”
I’ve barely spoken to him and he says this. I actually tell him he doesn’t even know me and continued to speak rarely just to see how quick I would be asked for money. Googled the name there is someone with name and a sergeant from 1904 and your quote from this thread. I hope you didn’t give money I spotted this one almost after his second message. Sorry

Does this guy sound genuine or a scammer? His name is Nathan Don Steven born 1st September 1967
Can anyone check for me if he is real or scamming me, can you email me when you find out, Thank you

    • The minute you said Nigeria I automatically knew it was a scam. Please don’t waste your time. The military does not make military personnel do any of that. I don’t need to check because the Nigerian scheme has been going on for years. A simple google will show you plenty of articles. Please stop talking to him so you don’t lose money.

  28. Hi i was waiting advice I have been talking to a us solider based in Australia & we were applying for leave & a dod employee called me asking questions& then got emails saying I need to send money for flights, pass, checks on me & application fee.
I said I wasn’t going to send the funds to South Africa & told the army solider this. Now I get a message from him but it says I’m his dr & he’s admitted to hospital & u can’t talk or fly their to see him. Is this part of the scam to get me to send the funds. I saw his face under numerous names on Facebook but he said his identity stolen but he’s the real solider I’m talking too. He has sent me pics & videos but not sure if it’s him or stolen pictures. Tried to search army records & they don’t say a solider with his name is in army. He uses an email ending with @us.army.mil does anyone know if this is a real email address & does officers posted overseas need to pay for leave. Now im getting messages from his CO on kik telling me to pay & fix this.

  29. I’ve been talking with the one who told me he is on duties in AF as peacekeeping in Sergeant major rank. He’s 47 years old. He told me his wife had died in aircraft accident since 2006.He becomes a single dad to take care his one daughter until 2013 he joined the US army. He is looking for a wife .we have been dating in 2 months. He expected once to visit me and my parents in my country in Viet Nam but he told me that he cant do any transaction on booking the ticket so he needs my helps. He told me cause of travelling purpose to meet someone why the goverment dont pay for any private personal . the first time he asked $400 for ticket.one of his friend will help him to book there in AF. He told that will return me the money when he arrives my country. 3 days after he wrote me the emergency from the air agent that his insurrance would be expired over. He need my help $380 sending to the agent for that. He also gave me a Thailand account to transfer money like the firt time he gave. I actually overdosed about his loves so I continued to do that. One day before his flight, he told me his leaving in AF has to delay 1 week because of something happenned. I saw the news and knew an attacked from Taliban near his deloyment. So I thought that why he delayed.
Until he called me one week ago by security private line. I realized the code is not in Kabul AF. It’s from Poto novo city, diffent country. I was so mood.I asked him why he told me alie where he was. That means all his words are lies. I told him I dont want to talk him anymore. But deep in my heart I cried much because I really love him much. He told me he will die if he lost me as a misunderstanding like that. He called me by many code country line from London, Canada, Campodia and the final is my code country in VN. While he was calling ,he cried much like me cried.
He told me that is not his phone. That is security private US army phone.
Until now he doesnt visit me.
In the past time once I asked him that someone told me he died in Syria desmontration. He got mad and angry. He called me by the video call by his laptop to prove me he’s still a live. I saw a soldier with uniform was talking to me in the Us embassy i think . He also waves his hand to me.
Now i wonder if he is scammer or fake or real? Could someone help me?

  30. So many scammers.. how to know who is or is not..?? Met a man on Tinder,( found him at fb too). Reading these posts, got me doubting his commitment to me.. I don’t have his email address or phone nr. We chat on Tinder at first, then he told me to set up a Kik app *so we could aid our conversations… * (his words)
I really have fallen for this man, Collins Bloor.
And yes, his a military man, currently posted in Nigeria… but surely not everyone is a rotten apple..
    Help, anyone?

      • I too met a soldier I’ve been talking too, I’ve seen his pictures in uniform he gave me his rank number. Says he wants to come home as been serving for 7 years and is now deployed in Syria. He has not asked for any money or anything. now I am having doubts reading these stories.

  31. I’m very thankful for this site. I met someone on OKCUPID, deployed in Nigeria since Feb 2016, cheated on and wanted someone to come home to in 4 months. He had pictures of himself, his son, and even videos of him/son. We only chatted on KIK and OKCUPID. He was very consistent with his contact. The only time i did not hear from him was when he was on patrol or sleep. I fell head over heels of course….he said all the things that a woman wants to hear. Gave me his birthday, place of birth, and city/state that he had a rental home in. I started to research and could not find one thing about him on the internet. I have done internet dating for years and I have always been able to find something on my dates. He has no family/friends and deleted his Facebook after he was cheated on. I asked for address to send a card and he refused and informed me it woukd be too stressful and we needed to just manage things on kik. His grammar was absolutely perfect until he started to talk about asking his commander to leave early so he could begin a life with me. He went to visit his commander at 10pm(his time) to yell him about me and ask to leave his deployment early. I questioned this and informed him i was confused about how this is even possible. I even asked him if it woukd cost money and he toldme no( I was just waiting for the request for money)He told me ” I will find out tomorrow or next tomorrow”. I googled this and Nigerian stuff came up. The phrase “next tomorrow” sounded unfamiliar and crazy to me. Long story short…I politely told him I was uncomfortable because I have no way of knowing if he is really Antonio wright. He tried to convince me he had done everything he could to prove to me and that I just wanted to find someone else. I was very heartbroken but controlled my emotions and cut off contact. I felt the request for money lingering and did not want to get that far. These scammers are getting more sophisticated….I never expected to get videos. They are exposing real soldiers and their kids…flat out heartless. Getting all of this out is very therapeutic and I pray it saves someone else’s heart fro misery and their bank account from being depleted!!!!

  32. Great website, very interesting comments. i have been chatting with a (so called) soldier in the Army, stationed in Turkey, claims hes been on a secret mission works with Special forces over there. He says every thing a women likes to hear. His name is Major Clint Orion Alexander,46 years old. Just would love to know if he is a real soldier.I had left a reply about 7 months and my reply back was,you needed a person with more authority to give me any response. Still very curious, thank you.

    • If he isn’t letting you see him on camera, I would begin to question it. If he is asking for money I would question it too. I have no way to verify if he is real but if he starts doing any of the above its most likely a scam.

  33. I have been conversing wit Sargent Bert watt ln Iraq. .I’m scared don’t know if he is real..did photo search and nothing came up did name search and nothing. No facebook..says wife and kids died in car crash. Been in army for 25 yrs getting ready to retire. Would relocate. Seems sincere but now after reading this I don’t know what to do? Advice??

  34. Okay I meet this guy he said he in the military. He asked me to send him money bc of food and he willing to video chat with me. But I don’t know if this is fake. I asked him if you are peacemaking why you say that a real soldier wouldn’t do that. He got mad and upset at me. Then his attitude changed really fast. I need advise before I do something stupid

  35. I have been chatting with a man named Edward Gutierrez who happened to find me on OKCupid. I’ve been suspicious about him for a while now and haven’t sent me any money even though he told me that his “classified” unit would only allow him to retire if I pay for his leave permit. He has sent me a few pictures of himself and I’m certain this is someone else’s pictures. Is there a way that you can find the person behind the picture to warm them that they’re being used?

    • Hello Alyson, RE: Scammer using: Edward Gutierrez’ identity

Edward Gutierrez, aka Eddie Gutierrez, or Ed Gutierrez, all same scammer. The fake person is in South Africa making a lot of money by scamming women. The fake person made several facebook profiles. one is Edward G Gutierrez, the other account is Gutierrez Ramos. He KIKs women with the name “Eed.love” and most of his victims are from the OKCupid dating site. I did research after he scammed me out of a lot of money. UNFORTUNATELY! I found other women talking about this scammer who stole the real Edward Gutierrez identity as far back as 2010. I have reported him to every government entity and company I could possible think of. i have the pictures I found from the facebook accounts and all of the pictures he sent me. I also found a blog all about him and a possible picture of the real scammer. I would post them here to validate what i am saying, but I don’t think adding pics to this message is possible. Feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about my experience and the pics and info I have on this jerk. Send me a message on Instagram: lavender_love_4ever or email me at lavenderlove2016@gmail.com

  36. Are their troops in a place called GHANA? Kinda curious because I have them trying to add me on facebook and I won’t do it. Didn’t think troops were in Africa.

  37. I am talking of a soldier online who says he is in Kabul. Yesterday he stated that he had been given gold and money from the Sultan in Afghanistan for helping to rescue a member of his family who had been kidnapped. He can’t keep the money or gold on him. He wants to send the items to me in North Carolina to keep for him until he gets home. He needs my full name address email to get package sent out. So am I being catfished?

  38. i’m so happy I found this I was just hit by an American soldier he seems legit, but I have my doubts? he claims he was just deployed to Nigeria for a year and wants me to stand by him incase, something happens has anybody else been hit with this? or is this really happening I am Canadian and not sure what is going on over there? thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  39. Help please I have been speaking with a charming man since Feb 2017. He claims to be special ops from Texas but is now in Nigeria. I have seen about 12 pictures of him in and out of uniform. Also 1 photo I.D. He claims he’s unable to video chat or speak on the phone. YES he has asked for money as he claims he has no food or shelter as he’s unable to access his funds from Nigeria. I have sent money through western union several times. Now he me to deposit money into some guys account. He has a USA phone number but when I call it, he never answers and it says it’s a text me app. His English is good i can detect a minor accent through his texts. We speak alot on KIK. His name is Philkington Foy Ballantine. He claims he will be back after his assignment and wants to marry me. He has one son with a nanny and his wife died in a car accident 5 years ago. Is he scamming me??

  40. I am in this situation now. I had an army soldier friend request me on facebook. Even though I am married he looked intriguing so I accepted his request. He told me that he was widowed, that his wife died of breast cancer in 2012 and he has a 10 year old son. He told me his home is in Miami Beach, Florida and his son is in boarding school there. He told me that he is 45 years old and also both of his parents are deceased. His name is Gonzales Williams. From his picture he doesn’t look hispanic so I asked him if Gonzales was his real name and he told me that it was a family surname. I have not pressed the question yet. He seems so genuine and so sweet. He says he has been in the army for 25 years and is in a peace keeping mission in Kabul, Afghanistan. He says he has been there for almost 4 years and will be getting out in a few months. I don’t know anything about the military is this true? I asked him if he could talk on the phone or skype and he said no for security purposes. He has sent me several photos of himself in and out of uniform. He wanted me to email his son and he gave me his email address. I did and I received back a message saying it was the school admin and that they monitor his emails and that he would email back in a day or so. He did and the email seemed legit. He messages me several times a day when he says he’s either getting ready for patrol and when he gets back. I have a gmail email address but not a military one. How do I know he is legit? He has already stole my heart. HELP!!! Brunswick, Ga

  41. Hi, don’t know if you can help me but I started chatting with this guy from a dating website. He told me he was deployed in Iraq with NATO and conditions were bad. He says he was born in Sydney and his father was deployed to Brazil when young.
He asked a lot of questions and said all the right things, he sent 8 diff photos over the time, after a week of chatting he told me his internet would run out and whether I could get him a steam gift card that he could exchange for cash to recharge his internet. As soon as he asked for this I guessed he was scamming me he got angry with me but I didn’t want to say no so I thought for $20 it wouldn’t matter, I gave him another $50 for interest and $50 for food. He then wanted me to log into his bank account to move his money around so he could get an exit form to come home. I said no, he then asked if I could give him $600 or even $400.
I said no to all this he got angry again and after a few days of discussing he told me that I was too complicated and I would find someone much better than him.
I have the “what if” feeling in my stomach and really need to know if he was really a scammer or just desperate. He also asked questions and said things that he really didn’t need to which confuses me heaps. Can you please help me?

    • You are being scammed. Please stop talking to this person. He doesn’t need you to get him an exit form to come home. That is not even how the process works. I receive these same stories from other women in my email all the time.
