Wine and Design Fayetteville
Want to try out your inner artist? Enjoy a wine and paint night with friends at Wine & Design in downtown Fayetteville. On my last visit me and several other mil-spouses had an amazing time painting a nighttime beach scene. The images you paint change with each class. The Wine Cafe
Speaking of wine, The Wine Cafe located downtown is the ultimate quaint girl’s paradise to explore new wines, taste test and sit back and relax. Jazzy Fridays at Cypress Vineyards
I first had the pleasure of attending one of the Jazzy Friday events held at Cypress Vineyards in Wagram, NC. Wagram is located one straight shot up Raeford Rd. Jazzy Fridays is held outside under a tent and offers a live band, dancing, a relaxing diverse atmosphere and people of all ages. Price is $15 per person and you can purchase drinks and wine there. On my last visit, they did supply small snacks like salsa, tortilla chips, cheese, and brownie bites. If you are celebrating a birthday, you are welcome to bring a cake and a small appetizer tray. A food truck or vendor is usually on site as well. Reservations are suggested for parties of 8 or more. Learn more here.
Fayetteville After 5
Head on down to Festival Park every second Friday of the month where you can enjoy Fayetteville After 5. You and your girls can enjoy live music, drinks, food trucks and just take in the sights. If you can’t make that head on downtown to 4th Fridays where you can indulge in shopping, street performances, good eats and so much more.
Xscape Factor
Sometimes the movies and eating out get boring, so what about a little action? Escape rooms require you and your pals to work together to get out of a certain scenario before time runs out. Xscape Factor downtown does just that with fun scenarios like Abduction and Big Top Murders. Prices start at $26+ and reservations are suggested. Don’t want to drive downtown? Head on over to Escape Room Fayetteville located off Sycamore Dairy Rd and if you live near the Linden Oaks side of Fort Bragg then check out Great Escape located in Cameron.
