This question relates to: Pay
Q. My husband and I just PCS’d to Bragg and being that it is our first duty station we applied for DLA as soon as we got here on the 12th. I just checked his LES and there was nothing on there. My question is does that pay come seperate or should it have been in this paycheck. Thanks in advance.
A. Hi and thanks for writing! Dislocation Allowance (DLA) is issued separately and will be direct deposited to your account. It could take 2-4 weeks to receive it after applying for it. On your next PCS you will be able to apply for it ahead of time should you choose to do so.
