Although the majority of you reading this are not bloggers, who doesn’t love fashion! At BlogHer some of the fun events consist of parties . Partying means dressing up and thanks to Kiyonna.com I was able to feel sexy, put together all at the same time.
Because I am a plus size girl I am extremely particular about what I wear and how it accentuates my curves and body.
Check out some of these fashionable pieces I wore courtesy of Kiyonna.com
This dress is known as the Gigi Lace Cinch Dress. It has been my dream to wear a dress with a nude material under it. It reminded me of a dress that Kate Winslet wore. I wore this dress to a night out on the town while in NYC with these Nude Patent Leather Ankle Wedges from Shoe Dazzle.
This dress fit me perfectly and camouflaged the stomach area with the way it ruffles in the middle providing a slimming effect.
From the Kiyonna site:
Get ready to turn heads in our Gigi Lace Cinch Dress. This sultry and ultra-flattering faux wrap cinch dress will have your admirers saying “WOW”. Light stretch lace with feminine scalloped trim lays over a deep blush nude lining. The deep color lining will allow this dress to compliment all skin tones with ease. The wrap neckline and cross-over skirt will give a wonderful slimming effect, while the double scooped hem will add length to your leg line. With an easy fitting silhouette and sheer 3/4 length sleeves, you’ll look amazing while never having to give up comfort and coverage. Great for all body shapes.
I paired the dress with a chunky necklace and off black pantyhose from Berkshire which in my opinion are awesome pantyhose for us plus size chickies.
As a plus size lady I enjoy a dress that is quality material and holds me in all the problem areas. As I have said in my previous dress post that a proper foundation for a dress begins with great undergarments which helps this dress to fit even better.
The Gigi Lace Cinch Dress retails for $128.00 and can be purchased not only at Kiyonna but on the AAFES exchange site with a 20% military discount.
