I remember the day my Godmother and Aunt took me to the movies to see the movie “Sister Act” and part two when it came out. I have always enjoyed movies that have a lot of music in them. I love it more when a musical becomes a movie or better yet when a movie becomes a musical.

If you are a musical fanatic like me and live in the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg area you will be excited to know that the Broadway musical Sister Act is coming to the Crown Coliseum for ONE night only this Friday November 14th at 7:30pm. Isn’t it great to know you don’t have to go far for quality entertainment!

About Sister Act

“SISTER ACT tells the hilarious story of Deloris Van Cartier, a wannabe diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look—a convent! Under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own. A sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship,SISTER ACT is reason to REJOICE!”

  2. I’m posting again only because I don’t see my entry from yesterday:

I would like to take my daughter to this show, every time it comes on tv, we make popcorn, eat chocolate and spurge on a two liter soda. It would be wonderful to take her to see this musical and give her the experience of seeing something so dynamic. Makes me think about when my cousin took me to see the Alvin Ailey Dancers….oh man…I was never the same and to this day of all the vast experiences I’ve had, seeing a live production is one of the most overwhelming feelings and I pray to playbit forward to her in taking her to her first live musical performance.
