I have always said that I miss the days of snail mail. When I was a kid I use to have a Pen pal via my school and we exchanged letters. Now with creation of email and social networks it seems like no one has time for that anymore.

I was excited when Popchips informed me of the following:

Here’s the scoop: Today through January 31, military members can pop into one of 460 army and air force exchange service (aafes) locations across the globe, where they’ll receive promotional codes to send two free personalized postcards to their friends and family directly from their phones through the free Postcard on the Run mobile app.
Sending postcards through Postcard on the Run is as easy as snap, tap and send! Take new a picture with your smartphone or use images already in your photo library, personalize it with a signature and for a fun twist choose from 11 different scratch n’ scents including pine tree or holiday spice. The Postcard on the Run app is available as a free download for AndroidiOS and Windows Mobile devices.

Happy Holidays!
