Disclosure: We partnered with Booking.com to bring you this helpful information.

My days as creator of Army Wife 101 and running a digital media agency are spent on phone calls, video meetings and creating content with our team for you, the awesome readers of our site. A vacation was much needed, and with Spring Break here my family and I partnered with Booking.com, to stay at Universal’s newest resort “Loews Sapphire Falls”.

We went through the Booking.com process which was extremely quick and easy. You simply choose the name of the property or town you want to stay in, the number of rooms, along with other search criteria and a list of properties that fits your requirements is displayed. What I love is that right there they display how many of the rooms are available for the rate. You also have the option of looking up different types of accommodations in one area. This includes hotels, resorts, B&B’s, executive apartments and more.

Booking.com is a good fit for military families for a variety of reasons:

  • Properties worldwide. Booking.com is just about anywhere the military sends you. No matter where you are stationed or where you vacation, you can find properties within your price range in Germany, Italy, England, Korea, Japan, Hawaii and more.
  • No deposit required. Booking.com doesn’t require you to put any payment down to secure your perfect property. Yes, you can book last-minute without a credit card. That frees up money for other immediate costs, and you pay when you stay.
  • Free early cancellation. With the military, plans change. Booking.com simplifies the booking of your next hotel room or vacation home by letting you change your mind. It will give you the date and time to which you can book with absolutely no financial obligation.
  • Refer A Friend. Booking.com allows you to earn money for referring your friends to the site.
Army Wife 101 lead writer Jackie Toops used Booking.com to score Hotel Spitzweg in the heart of Rotenburg ob der Tauber, Germany. Its location and value brought the comforts of home during their visit to this magical, historic walled city.

Sure there are plenty of options, but when you are in the middle of a PCS (military move) and the DLA and the lodging allotments have run out, it’s all about getting the best deal as quick as possible. How long will I be in lodging tends to be the big question because we know that sometimes on base housing takes forever to get.

The App

You can download the Booking app here and always have access to it on the road. Army Wife 101 writer Jackie Toops enjoyed an amazing trip to Germany last week and booked a room on the fly through the Booking app.

Either way you can book via your computer or phone.

The next time you have to PCS or you just wanna get some down time with the family before a upcoming military separation check out your options here.
